The beer (called White House Honey Ale) was brewed with one pound of honey from the White House beehive, Obama Foodorama reports. The site adds that the ale was made by “an unnamed White House chef who is a home-brewing enthusiast.”
The homemade microbrew was served up in bottles with labels that read “brewed with White House honey.”
Let’s see the rest of the ingredients because the specific gravity using only a pound of honey making enough to bottle and serve 200 people would be a little thin to say the least.

I’ve been wanting to brew beer for two years but have not gotten full time employment yet so it’s on the shelf. It pisses me off that this joker doesn’t give a crap about the job situation, but boy when it comes to partying he’s down with that.

Mead is just honey and water that is fermented. It tastes similar to champagne and in the old days a couple would get a barrel of mead when they got married. This practice gave us the term honeymoon.
