Analysis: Palin's celeb feuds don't lead to the W.H.
Politico ^ | 3/7/1 | Andy Barr

Sarah Palin is making her priorities clear – celebrity feuds trump visiting early states and building an organization.

Much was made of Palin’s hire of Mike Glassner as her chief of staff, but since then her operation has not begun to look any more like a campaign in waiting. Continue Reading

She has yet to hire additional staff to make a political play. And the contrasting 2012 storylines today serve as good a reminder as any recently of just how far Palin is from running for president.

In Iowa, five presidential candidates of various stature are participating in one of the first cattle calls at the Faith and Freedom Coalition forum.

And what’s Palin doing?

She’s in a celeb-feud with Kathy Griffin, who is pretty transparently using the conflict to promote her coming Broadway performance.

Since I don’t think they should even be able to vote, what makes you think I’d want one as CIC.

The only people further behind Palin in organization and money raising are - DeMint, Bachman and Cain. Besides, no one outside a microsphere even know who they are. And if they became frontrunners, they would be savaged by the media, especially Bachman.

Sarah is so achingly direct and intelligent and capable of governing I just have to laugh when I read this fluff! Politico needs to borrow a page from the National Enquirer and give us a full blown laugh instead of just a chuckle.

It sounds to me like Cain is off to a good start, winning a Tea Party straw vote and, now, appearing in Iowa at the Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Spring Kickoff.

If Palin is serious about running, she needs to start making visits and building an organization in Iowa. It's not very believable that she can just walk in and blow all the other candidates away in that state without putting considerable time and effort into meeting the voters there.

I do believe Politico is part of the team hosting the “debate” — so the rationale for their whine here is pretty obvious. Sour grapes.

Politico is pissed because Palin won’t play their game. You see, she’s supposed to hire Beltway insiders and attend $10,000-a-plate dinners and extol the virtues of working with Democrats and pursuing a “moderate” agenda. Nope, Sarah isn’t having none of that, and this hit piece conveniently comes out after Sarah won’t attend the May 2nd debate.

What good does it do Sarah to even acknowledge the filth-merchant Griffin?

I like Palin’s defensive instincts, but if a nobody like Griffin can get to her, what will happen in a presidential campaign with the MSM 100% against her?

Why is it that the ones who don't like Palin to begin with are always trying to give her advice?

She said she is going to run an unconventional campaign, and it appears she's going to do just that. Whatever she's doing, it's a breath of fresh air. I'm glad she's cart-blocking the other Republicans and making them spend their time and money doing the chitlin circuit while she gets to gives speeches overseas and comment on Obama's stupid policies.

Every conservative or mere Republican will be savaged by the media, especially once the game players are finally chosen.

Forget EVER about using the main stream reporters to EVER be fair to ANYONE....even GOD would be savaged by them if the mantle of Republican or conservative followed His name.

If Sarah decides she can do it, I will be right there with her. And I will know without a DOUBT that she is not allowing the press to determine her life course.

Although I did not want McCain to be our candidate, he was extremely slow in learning how the press will betray every single republican it woos. It was this unfair and sad fact that misled McCain so badly when he actually became the candidate....the ol buddy buddy express bus became the trash McCain train very quickly. He felt betrayed...and he was.

Sarah is WAY use to it...because she is smart and unafraid to answer the twisted minds that distort who she is. I like that. She has won every time because she gives the TRUTH a chance to fester instead of running and hiding. Hee hee

Politico is suffering from a panic attack because of their Republican Presidential Candidate Debate scheduled for May 2nd 2011, at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in beautiful Simi Valley, California.

Hugh Hewitt has already called for a boycott and it appears that all of the prospective Republican candidates have heeded his call.

I just love to watch the MSM and all of the sychophant pundits and assorted other political parasites PANIC at the prospect of no one showing up on May 2nd.

Every prospective Republican Presidential candidate should WAIT until after Memorial Day to declare.

No Republican Presidential candidates= No money for the Eastern Establishment.

Good...let ‘em stew in their own juices for a while.

Tea-He-He...Ha...Ha...
