Just who is Representative Keith Ellison (Democrat, MN-05)?
Is he one of two Muslim Congressmen?
Is he the heel to Rep. Peter King (R-NY), whose Homeland Security hearings on the radicalization of American Muslims have been smeared as a “witch hunt”?
Is he the Congressman who—in his best Joseph Welch impression—recounted a tale (of which some are questioning the veracity) of Mohammed Salman Hamdani, a 23-year-old Pakistan-born American who sacrificed his life saving civilians from the 2001 Islamic terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center buildings
Or is he a radical himself, with ties to radical Islam himself?
Yes, yes, yes, and unfortunately, yes.
Our story starts in 1963, when Keith Maurice Ellison was born into a God-fearing, all-American Roman Catholic family in Detroit, Michigan. While attending Wayne State University for an economics degree, Ellison converted to Islam at the age of 19. Ellison later enrolled at the University of Minnesota’s law school.
In an interview with Middle East media outlet Al-Jazeera, he explained that his conversion to Islam was political in nature:
I had begun to really look around and ask myself about the social circumstances of the country, issues of justice, issues of change. When I looked at my spiritual life, and I looked at what might inform social change, justice in society… I found Islam.
As a law student, Ellison began to write of his adulation for the “Minister Louis Farrakhan,” and the Nation of Islam.

Let’s see how many sleeper cells in Congress would that estimate? Isn’t there some kind of mathematical formula somewhere that for every visible Muslim you have X number you don’t see?
Iow, the Farrakhan-enamored piece of turd converted to Islam for precisely the same reason many American blacks convert --- hatred for "whitey." They view it as the ultimate rebellion.
So, why didn’t “Keith” run under his Muzzie name, if he was doing it out of political principle?
There’s also a strong misogynist streak in the male black America, and Islam feeds into that quite nicely.

It’s an assumption on my part,
because everyone that converts to Islam,
especially “Nation of Islam”
takes on some Mohamedian name.
I’ve done a search, and can’t find any references right off.
Perhaps he understood that he wouldn’t go very far in politics without keeping his Catholic name.

And what absolutely amazes me is that they are not fazed by the fact that the Arab words for “black” and “slave” are identical! By the time they get around to learning Arabic, it’s too late to convert back out....
Ellison, however, as you said blubbers all over himself, and the same media has seen nothing wrong with it.
