Top-ranking Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer is urging Republican House Speaker John Boehner to ditch the Tea Party and join a coalition that includes Democrats to work around conservative lawmakers on spending cuts.
“It is becoming clear that the path to a bipartisan budget deal may not go through the Tea Party at all. In order to avert a shutdown, Speaker Boehner should consider leaving the Tea Party behind and instead seek a consensus in the House among moderate Republicans and a group of Democrats,” the New Yorker said in a written statement.

Once agan a republican gives the wrong answer to a reporter writing a democrat propaganda piece. The response should have been, “I call on Senator Schumer to leave the socialists behind and join the American people.”

Bart Stupak was that stupid for accepting Obama’s “deal” to cut out abortion funding with an executive order. Everybody knows the new health law will use taxpayer dollars to fund abortions. Stupak was too chicken to run in 2010 knowing that voters would pound him for letting the wool get pulled over his eyes. But for Stupak and a few similarly-minded clowns, we wouldn’t even have the Obamacare mess to clean up.
Meant to add: since progressives managed to fool these Dems, and since they have an even lower opinion about the intelligence of Republicans, you can rest assured Schumer believes Boehner is stupid enough to take his bait.

The Fat lady is warming up, for the Republican name brand will be a thing of the past. The Tea Party needs to move on without them. Unfortunately, by 2012, it may be too late to save the good ole USA from financial meltdown due to currency crisis (QE^n).
