Obama's team seeks new ways to fire up his base

WASHINGTON – Barack Obama rode a wave of voter passion in 2008 fed largely by intense dislike of President George W. Bush and the Iraq war, plus excitement among young and minority voters at the notion of electing the nation's first black president.

Now, as Obama cranks up his re-election campaign, all those factors are absent.

The president has many tools, of course, for inspiring and exciting potential voters. But he faces a different landscape, one in which key supporters are disappointed by concessions he has made to Republicans, and discouraged by huge Democratic losses last fall.

Obama's team seeks new ways to fire up his base

Just have him declare the American Caliphate by executive order, and all will be forgiven.

Obama invokes religious themes as 2012 campaign nears

"When I wake in the morning, I wait on the Lord, and I ask Him to give me the strength to do right by our country and its people," Obama said. "And when I go to bed at night, I wait on the Lord, and I ask Him to forgive me my sins, and look after my family and the American people, and make me an instrument of His will." LAST YEAR'S OFFICIAL DNC POSTER

THIS YEAR'S OFFICIAL DNC POSTER

"Voters, Obama is baptized in the fire of faith."
"Obama's been saved. Thank you, Jesus."
"Voters, let's hear an Alleluia and an Amen."

===========================================

THIS SAYS A LOT Obama's recent Boston fundraiser started out as a $5,000 a plate then dropped to $500 a plate ... but he still could not fill the room——ended up talking to a little over 100 people. Heh---nice to see Ohaha between a rock and a hard place. In a word----l-o-s-e-r.

===================================================

Wisconsin (with other states following) has got the Dems scared big time. A key provision of Walker's WI law is not only to eviscerate unions' bargaining power but ALSO the state's obligation to collect union dues out of employee's paychecks---(most of which goes to Dem campaigns). The libs are paranoid that Obama did not join them in WI as he promised he would during the campaign. He couldn't go----B/C he couldn't appear to side with violent union workers intent on keeping collective bargaining "rights" ...rights Ohaha's army of federal employees do not have.

another clip for the article:

“Beyond that, Obama eventually plans large rallies similar to those in 2008. They create showy spectacles that excite young voters, but they also serve a fundraising role. People who enter the stadiums or buy Obama T-shirts are asked to provide their names and contact information, which are used later to request donations and volunteer activities.”

Won’t that be rich when only 3000 people show up at Invesco Field this time?

LAUGH BREAK: Obama meeting with potential DNC donors
San Diego Union-Tribune (AP) ^ | MARCH 14, 2011
FR Posted on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 by South40

WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama is meeting with about 50 donors and potential donors to the Democratic National Committee as he gears up to raise money for the approaching 2012 campaign. ((snip)) Obama raised a whopping $750 million for his 2008 presidential bid. His re-election campaign could raise in excess of $1 billion. (Excerpt) Read more at signonsandiego.com ...

===============================================

So when will Obama be meeting with all those "anonymous foreign donors" who flooded his 2008 campaign with hundreds of thousands of relatively small, untraceable illegal donations?

Heh----Obama's gonna hafta think up a new scam to account for all those "zillions in campaign contributions" he's got stashed offshore (looted from the US Treasury during the infamous "bailout)."

=====================================

Reminds me of the excellent book---"Flawless"-----about the Antwerp diamond heist, looted of half a $billion. The crooks couldn't spend it, of course, without calling attention to themselves.

So they had to invent a highly visible money-maker to account for their spending.......they pretended a multi-million dollar movie deal about their heist was in the works.

ROTFL. Then again, Obama is not that clever.

“Seizing the reins” is an apt metaphor. Driving horse teams is a skill that has fallen out of usage. This inadequate, evil pinhead will have no idea what to do if he should “seize the reins.”

Gosh, how do you fire up the Obama base?

1. Sacrifice a baby to secularism on the Presidential dais.
2. Draw and quarter a business owner, while allowing the union to loot his property.
3. Give out checks with amounts based on skin pigmentation.
4. Give all government union members a 500% raise.
5. Make flag burning a national kindergarten requirement.

He should just go right to the Socialist end game, and threaten to execute anyone in his base who isn’t sufficiently “fired up”.

“But he faces a different landscape”

Namely, one littered with all the crap he’s dumped on Americans in just 2 short years. It’s hard to run fast when you’re dodging large piles of horse dung.

It’s not your base you have a proble with Obama it is the independants who now are unemployed who were working back when you took office. They now see what an empy suit they bought and they’d really really like to return it.
