A bill attempting to head off possible human cloning is starting its travel through Minnesotas Legislature.
The human cloning ban is a priority of the states dominant anti-abortion group, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life. The legislation would make it a felony to attempt, perform or aid in cloning by combining embryonic eggs with the nucleus removed and other human cells.

We haven’t controlled the house and senate here in over 40 some-odd years. The real shame is that Mark Dayton somehow was elected to be the blockade to some real change in MN.
Given that it’s Minnesota, that’s probably a good idea.

I mean, if there is a federal law against it, don’t they have a lot more important crap to take care of in my former state?
