Bill Would Ban Human Cloning In Minnesota

A bill attempting to head off possible human cloning is starting its travel through Minnesota’s Legislature.

The human cloning ban is a priority of the state’s dominant anti-abortion group, Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life. The legislation would make it a felony to attempt, perform or aid in cloning by combining embryonic eggs with the nucleus removed and other human cells.

We haven’t controlled the house and senate here in over 40 some-odd years. The real shame is that Mark Dayton somehow was elected to be the blockade to some real change in MN.

They have enough “Ya, you betcha’s” already. They figure more cloning of these would be reverse affirmative action.

I mean, if there is a federal law against it, don’t they have a lot more important crap to take care of in my former state?
