Georgia Republican U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss is breaking ranks to oppose efforts to restrict federal funding for National Public Radio.
The Georgia Republican defended the news organization over the weekend, saying restricting federal funding may not be the “wisest thing.”

The NPR is not a “news organization” first of all.
This guy should be run out of the party.
I'm convinced that at least half of the Republicans share the same big government philosophy of 100% of the Democrats. These Republicans will speak a good game - but when it comes push to shove they'll support Big Government spending, and stall any cuts. Perhaps 25% to 50% of the Republicans actually believe in the concept of a limited Government, with a much smaller budget, and reduced tax burdens on the people.
This is a tough one to correct. Many of these Republicans will masquerade as caring about fiscal responsibility - but you don't find out until its time to vote - and you get garbage like this where Chambliss somehow finds that its important for the taxpayers to support NPR...
We have to root these turncoats out if this Nation is to survive.

Bill Moyer, Garrison Keillor and too many other Left-Wing Anal Carbuncles are literally making millions off NPR. send them packing off to the private sector, and make them take that sepulchre-voiced superannuated liberal dingbat Daniel Shorr with them. "All things considered?" Yeah right! "OK, Keillor is funny, maybe he can make it on his own, even after he sees how his anti-Republican slurs go down.
That Seymour witch out in LA says it all for NPR when he baldly states that the "Left is good. The Right is bad, we all know that."
