Herman Cain strongly defended the movement against charges of racism. According to Cain, “Accusing the Tea Party movement of racism is not only a cheap shot, it is totally inaccurate and it is a sign of desperation on the part of those who are intimidated by the growing strength of the Tea Party movement.”
“For President Obama or anybody else to say that it is racially motivated because [those in the Tea Party movement] disagree with President Obama, that’s because they are desperate to cover up his failed policies, and so they play the race card,” said Cain.

If the Tea Part were racist, it’s membership would be close to zero.
Like minded Republicans, Democrats, and Independents have joined to make the Tea Party what it is today.
The insecure Leftists and the nervous Republicans need to come to terms with a new paradigm.
The nation doesn’t need either of them.
So keep calling them racists, right up until they remove you from office. They really don’t mind.

I hope the race card is finally about played out. It should be worn as a badge of honor, a sign that your political opponents don’t have a rational argument against your stance on an issue.

Agreed. Of all potential candidates mentioned, he brings the goods, the experience, and the background of actually achieving results that no other candidate can compare to.
I’m betting that if Palin doens’t run, it will be because she sees Harman Cain as the man to lead our country, and will prove that with an ensorsement. Her ensorsement will immediately put him on the political map and make him front page news.

Anyone who accuses the Tea Party movement of racism is a liar or has obviously not been paying attention.
I dismiss anyone who says that as combative, a nut, or someone who is terribly uniformed (they listen to the mainstream state controlled media).
Shorter term, I would like to see a debate between him and Palin. And other conservative aspirants, for that matter.

Blacks are 12% of the population... be generous and say 25% of them are Conservatives, so if ALL Conservative Blacks showed up there would be about 3% of the audience...
or for Chris Matthews that's 3 of every one hundred would be black... but..
