A coalition of the United States and four other nations launched military action against Libya on Saturday, officials said, as the West tries to force Muammar Gaddafi from power.

A U.S. official told reporters on condition of anonymity that a coalition including the United States, France, Britain, Canada and Italy had begun launching strikes on Libya designed to cripple Muammar Gaddafi's air defenses.

At least some Arab nations are expected to join the coalition later, the official said.

Amr Moussa says the military operations have gone beyond what the Arab League backed.

No they did not...the Arab league knew exactly what this would entail in every respect. They just have to play their hand now.

You are forgetting we were told there is to be a host of dis-information as the propaganda war is being played out now. They knew...and now all sides are playing the proganda war to their advantage......protecting their political seats in the process. Lots of 'he said she said' on the board now.

Thanks for posting this. I will be using this to bash some Rinos and rats who have lied about GW’s support in Iraq.

According to this website there were 52 countries in the Coalition of the Willing in March-April 2003, 15 of which provided boots on the ground. In March 2004 there were 53 countries with 34 providing troops.

17 UN resolutions were promptly ignored by Iraq along with harboring of known terrorists, large payments to suicide bombers, known terrorist training camps, WMD and its use on their citizens, over a year of warnings and a Congressional Joint Resolution to Authorize the Use of United States Armed Forces Against Iraq and all of these led to an illegal, immoral, war of choice and agression by President George W. Bush.

But this fiasco? All is well in Barry’s World.

I’m sending this link and the original article to the lying rats/rinos and some allies to use it. Thanks again.

Be nice. Lets pray that it turns out ok.

We are actually doing the right thing so far. Let us hope that it continues.

I know that the lefts undermining of Bush for all those years rankles... but lets not do the same in return.

Our troops need to win this battle against the islamists in the middle east. If this war allows us in to take out the bad guys (fingers crossed we support the right side) then lets go get them.

Quaddafi is definitely not a good guy. Lets have some say in who replaces him.

You are welcome, Grampa. I don't know how I missed it all these years...just stumbled upon it today.

Thanks for spreading it around. It is never too late to repeat the facts.

Amin Al Husseini seen inspecting his Hanzar Division made up exclusively of Muslims, mostly from the Crotia/Bosnia/Serbia region. They actively lead the genocide against BSerbs, Serbian Jews and Gypsies.

Amin Al Husseini meets with Adolf Hitler in November 1942, weeks before the decision to implement the Final Solution which sent Europe's Jews to the gas chamber. The Third Reich provided Amin Al Husseini with a salary and appointed him Head of the Hanzar SS Division. The Hanzar Division was made of Nazi Muslims and implemented the genocide of 250,000 Serbs, Gypsies and Jews during WWII.

Amin Al Husseini shown here on a Nazi poster recruiting fellow Muslims to join Hitler in the fight against the West and the Jews. His disciples today include Yasser Arafat, Saddam Hussein and the leaders of Hamas, Al Qeida and Islamic Jihad.

Amin Al Husseini, future President of the World Islamic Congress (1961) and founding father of the Arab League (1944) inspects his Muslim Nazi troops, the Hanzar Division. Amin Al Husseini making the traditional nazi salute.

Yasser Arafat became a disciple of Amin Al Husseini since the age of 17. Here: recent picture of Palestinian soldiers under the leadership of Arafat making the traditional Nazi salute.

Be nice.
NO! Frankly I'm sick of that BS.

We are actually doing the right thing so far.
What on earth would make you say that? You have no idea who these so-called rebel forces are. They could be the MB as they were in Egypt, or AQ for all we know.

Our troops need to win this battle against the islamists in the middle east.
I agree and they should be permitted to have bullets in their weapons and take them out in Afghanistan and Iraq with impunity.

We don't need another front in the war and the fact of the matter is, WE have no idea if we are supporting the right side or not at this point.

Why would I want a say in who rules Libya? I sure as heck don't want Libya, or any other nation, to have a say in who "rules" the USA. Enough!

I don't see anything "crypto" about his muslimness.

As I've been saying since before 11-08:
He is an islamo-fascist communist! I used to add foreign-born, but wth knows. He is certainly not POTUS.

Now 5 countries make up a coalition? They along with a single UN resolution and no Congressional approval now constitutes a legitimate declaration of war on a country? A sovereign nation that has not threatened us nor harbored those who would do us harm, nor have launched a war of aggression against their neighbors, nor do they possess or plan on making WMD and have not violated more than a dozen UN resolutions? This is what passes for a legal war these days?

You are darn tootin!!! I have been screaming at the news and cannot bear what is happening. Some Dems are starting to say "unconstitutional" but it is too late for that. The time to worry about constitutional was before this man was sworn in to be president. With each step he takes it emboldens him more and he has dared anyone to challenge him because if they do, they will be ridiculed and made laughing stocks. I wonder how many are laughing now.
