The Top 5 Hate-Mongers I Witnessed at the Los Angeles Anti-War Rally

or too long we have been lied to about the Left in America. We have been told that leftists are peaceful, open-minded, mainstream and tolerant. We have repeatedly been told that it is conservatives who are mean-spirited, violent, aggressive and close-minded. Progressives would have us believe that it is the political Right that harbors America’s radicals, crazies and extremists.

Conservatives have been lambasted for fostering a climate of hate and violence that inevitably led to the tragic shooting of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. We were told by the mainstream media and other progressive elites that words have consequences, and that conservative icons such as Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck have blood on their hands. Referring to the shooting, Jane Fonda said on her Twitter account that Glenn beck was “guilty,” and that Sarah Palin and the Tea Party were “responsible” for this horrible crime.

After the shooting, leftist New York Times columnist Paul Krugman wrote:

You know that Republicans will yell about the evils of partisanship whenever anyone tries to make a connection between the rhetoric of Beck, Limbaugh, etc. and the violence I fear we’re going to see in the months and years ahead. But violent acts are what happen when you create a climate of hate. And it’s long past time for the GOP’s leaders to take a stand against the hate-mongers.

Calls for “a new civil tone” could be heard everywhere. Disgraced überleftist television pundit Keith Olbermann called on Bill O’Reilly and Glenn Beck to apologize for the harm they had caused to the republic.

The left are complete frauds.

They whine and moan about Bush but I don't hear them complaining about Obama taking us to war without consulting congress.

Bush lied and people died while Obama has told the God honest truth while EVERYONE of the age of consent were procreating because of their love for humanity.

I am well aware of the communist ANSWER like anti-war protesters from the big DC rallies during the Bush days. But Bush is no longer president, Now Mr 'I work for the UN and we should reason with our enemies' is president.

If I was there what I would be tempted to do, just for fun , is to join in and carry a sign that says Obama bombs babies in Libya or Why does Obama always bomb Muslim countries?. Stoke those flames from the left for 2012 so they stay home on election day. (I may not want to be recorded on camera doing this though without a disguise) .

NPR did a story a few days ago about our military's "smart weapons". You see, our military acting in Libya is working very hard to limit civilian casualties. We have highly accurate weapons which really cut back on loss of life among innocents. Now, to put this in some historical perspective, NPR looked at other wars -- specifically Bosnia. That's really where smart weapons started, and they were really brilliant and effective there. Very few civilian casualties in Bosnia. And, of course, the weapons have greatly improved, so you can imagine how stupendous they are today in Libya.

Bosnia -- Bill Clinton's war -- humane, low civilian casualties.
Libya -- Obama's war -- humane, low civilian casualties.

No mention of Iraq or Afghanistan. I guess that's because we were indiscriminately slaughtering civilians there under a Republican president. The anti-war protesters told me so.[/s]
