Hugh Ross will be terribly disappointed.

Yeah, but what about Lorentz’ IQ?

While I was in college, a guy down the hall was from the same town as a child prodigy, who was also attending the university at -- age 12. The 12 year old was certainly a genius, but it must have been difficult for him to hang out with college age students from a social standpoint.

I hope the 12 year old in this article is well grounded with good parents.

Well, let’s all keep our fingers crossed. Most of these child prodigies burn out early and wind up in the gutter at age 21.

(Big Bang Theory Disproven by 12-year-old boy)

Are you smarter than *everyone*, or maybe just retarded?

“From within his 12-year-old, mildly autistic mind,....”

Maybe autistic — maybe just trying desperately to tune out all the (relatively) moronic bozos around him.

... says he has set out to disprove the big bang (general relativity). Does not say the theory is disproven. That would be newsworthy ... if General Relativity equations are modified.

Anyone who solves these will be in line for a Nobel Prize.

Why would they discourage the kid like that?

Great story.

Disprove the big bang.

Impossible. The Dopler effect proves the existence of an infinitely dense singularity... Period.

WOW

Some people thing Autism is a birth defect. No, it is simply a different way of thinking, of using one’s mind.

It is a gift, and like many gifts, comes with downsides as well.

God bless him, and god bless his family for supporting him!

This is AWESOME!

Yes! It is amazing!
Reminds me of very well learned pastor/minister when asked: “Do you believe in the ‘Big Bang Theory?’(meaning, how the world began).

Th P/M answered: “I understand that is how it is going to end!”

Another about a little girl when asked: “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?”

Her answer: “The Chicken of course! God did not make any eggs!”

His train of thought is interesting. Conventional thinking is that atoms only formed when the universe’s temperature had cooled enough that the strong force could bind quarks together to form protons. But by the same logic, if the universe had that much energy density, why would those atoms not immediately fuze to heavier elements, blasting right up to and through fuzing iron, with the universe’s cooling quickly becoming driven by the energy loss from fuzing the very heavy elements?

I apparently have Aspergers syndrome.

Never heard of such a thing, but lived with it forever.

Thought it was a normal thing.
