Secretary leads the president and vice president in popular appeal
PRINCETON, NJ -- Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's favorable rating from Americans is now 66%, up from 61% in July 2010 and her highest rating to date while serving in the Obama administration. The current rating is just one percentage point below her all-time high rating of 67%, from December 1998.

At least Obama was elected to office, unlike Hillary who thought that the First Lady is part of the legislative branch.

I’ve been saying for two weeks now that she won’t have to challenge Obama - he’ll simply hand off to her. After all, they are identical when it comes to policy, but doesn’t carry anywhere near the baggage of him. What tipped me off was when her husband started talking about drilling in the Gulf.
The plan seems to be under way, and the fact that polling is now out there shows that it’s just not me whispering about it.
