I don’t hate you. I misspoke. I loathe the attitude.

Why are you concerned with something that is trivial at this time? Do you think Japan will provide it’s own people? Are you not aware that many tens of thousands have even greater losses?

But why not answer your question, as if it is an honest question?

When the questioner hangs among a band of rioting looters and vandals, sorry, I will not answer even an honest question from such a person in the midst of a vile mob.

Such a situation is the worst time to panic. The media trains panic and fear -— it draws viewers. Mob rush behavior. Not just using it — training it. “Ad Demographics”

On that night ... They piled up IN the exits, because they panicked. Many would have died anyway. But more would have survived had they had not been trained to behave emotionally like a mob to upsetting situations.

Even one life saved by lack of panic is priceless.

Did they show the video of the Bradford City Fire at the soccer stadium in England, that happened back around 1985? It’s still on YouTube as I recall.

Craziest thing I ever saw, the whole stands are going up in flames, and meanwhile the supporters in the middle of the pitch are cheering and chanting.

The ones they piled up in were locked. Some were saved when onlookers and FD started busting doors from the outside.

If you think my concern over people who have lost everything they’ve worked for all their lives is a bad attitude, then you are the one with the problem.

The heads of the people stuck inside one open doorway is what I saw, that I spoke to. Did some one outside open up that door, after a pile of people had been pressed against it? Are you sure we are talking of the same doorway? How would you be sure?

In any case I was caught in two crowd panic situations, and managed to save one girl from being crushed, by bracing my legs against the walk to protect her. Legs rated at that time for 3/4 of a ton pressing force.

The video we saw was shot by a person in the audience maybe 20’from the stage. It shows the pyro start going off and lighting off the foam they were using for sound insulation on the stage.

It takes the audience several moments to realize the situation. The flame spread was fast, intense and smokey. People start for the doors they came in and pass other doors on the way. Quite a few were locked and people piled up there.

The person who shot the video gets out into the parking lot and then goes back to doors and captures many peoples last moments.

I doubt the video is in public domain.

I remember seeing a video of that event. It was captivating because I have, in my younger years, visited many clubs. This event kind-of hit home for me. Horrible, but at the same time, I couldn't stop watching.

I remember an inside video like that. The tragic scene I was referring to was shot from outside by a news crew, iirc.

Shocking ABC News Nightline Report -- Dreaded News "Plutonium" Leaking and Spreading

The Time to Wake Up is Long Past . . .

Just like I was saying a couple of weeks ago. This is very sad. ABC's anchor at the start of the report says that the tiniest spec of inhaled Plutonium can cause lung cancer.

Plutonium was spread worldwide during the age of nuclear testing. Countable numbers did not die from it. That is: name the one death.

Forty miles upwind to Manhattan at a missile facility, a nuke warhead -- a plutonium-based warhead -- once caught fire ...

On June 7, 1960, a non-nuclear explosion and fire occurred in BOMARC Missile Shelter 204. The fire burned uncontrolled for about 30 minutes. The force of the explosion destroyed the missile, its plutonium-containing warhead, and portions of the shelter ... see http://virtualglobetrotting.com/map/bomarc-missle-site-46th-adms/
How much plutonium was released? Guesses range from 1 to 15 kilograms according to web reports. Number of deaths: none reported.

The dangers of plutonium are real, but hysteria overstates them.

Trying to get people to wake up is not hysteria.

When you can’t know for sure what is happening, because governments care more about appearances than telling their people the truth, that is a good reason to wonder about what little information DOES come out.

That ABC news story was from March 25, or thereabouts (2 weeks after the earthquake it said, also referenced the scare from a couple of weeks ago about the iodine in the water in Tokyo.

Yes, one speck of plutonium CAN cause lung cancer. So can one cigarette.

There could well be a crack in a containment. It could be leaking water — they haven’t so far as I can tell verified that the water is coming from within containment, and such a crack would not mean that plutonium can escape either.

I have no doubt this could end up much worse than is currenty known. I prefer though to worry about problems when they actually become problems, not fret about things I have no control over and that are not known yet.

Otherwise, I’ll spend my life worrying that tomorrow a meteor will hit the earth and wipe us out. Because that could happen, you know, and there are many people who believe that if the government knew, they wouldn’t tell you. And it would be much more damaging than anything that can come out of that plant in Japan.

I don’t think we serve our fellow freepers well posting old ABC news nightline videos, or giving too much credence to greenpeace press releases, or videos made by companies that specialize in suiing to stop nuclear plant construction. They are interesting, and more real knowledge is better than less, but we aught to properly label and put all information in context.

We know that governments tend to sugar-coat things. But we also know that there are many organizations that are paid to scare us into doing what they want.

That video was posted on YouTube on April 4, 2011.

I found it on another web site labeled as "Breaking News." You are not serving freepers well by downplaying the information in the video. The crack in containment is so bad that Japan was forced to inject 200 tons of water a day trying to cool off reactors.

Thus far, all Japan has done is lie, lie, lie and lie. All TEMCO has done is file sham report to the government, lie and cover-up the truth. And spend a fortune on public relation reports. Just like our own very corrupt government. In case you did not know -- both Japan and the U.S. are controlled by a wealthy, corrupt oligarchy and cabal of the elites.

IMPO, "Party Politics" is a total sham and a gigantic stage play for the people. The New World Order has stated its goal of eliminating over 90% of the world's population. They even erected on monument in Georgia bragging about their goals

This Japanese tragedy looks like its unfolding in fulfillment of that NWO dream

Newly Released TEPCO Data Provides Evidence of Periodic Chain Reaction at Fukushima Unit 1

If there were any doubt before, this tragedy is obviously worse than Chernobyl. And getting worse each day. Two more reactors may have major damage. But Japan is not being truthful.

Recent press reports have discussed the possibility that Fukushima Unit 1 may be having a nuclear chain reaction. New data released by TEPCO indicates that even though Fukushima Unit 1 was shut down during the March 11 earthquake, it appears to have "gone critical" again without human intervention.

The detection by TEPCO of short-lived radioactive isotopes substantiates the existence of this inadvertent criticality.

Some random anonymous person posted an old ABC News Nightline video to Youtube yesterday, with an hysterical headline that didn’t match what was in the video.

I thought you understood that, which is why I chastised the posting. I apologize. This is a great example of how irrational hysteria spreads. We all need to look at the source of the information we are getting, and not just assume that because there is a scary headline and a recent date on youtube that we are seeing “breaking news”. Do the research, and you might not be quite as scared about things.

I was curious where you got the “200 tons of water” information, since you didn’t give a link. I found it one place, at a site called www.conspiracy.me. I can’t access it from work, but in general, I downplay information if it is posted only at sites with the name “conspiracy” in them.

Oh, it’s also at huffington post and at fairewinds — fairewinds is that group that sues to stop nuclear plants and for other environmental causes, and is the one that claimed they could see the spent pool rod frames in a video where the entire spent pool was buried under roof debris.

IN fact, they are not losing 200 tons of water a day in reactor cooling water. They are recirculating the reactor cooling water, and sending it through the condensors. I can’t find a reference that says they are recirculating 200 tons a day either, but understand that they are not just running water into the cores and having it spill out.

BTW, 200 tons of water is about 50,000 gallons. If you read the news today, you will see that yesterday they asked for permission to release 11,500 tons of low-level radioactive water, and today they have started that release. So there was a LOT of water around from when they were spraying and dropping water all over the reactors. But this isn’t highly radioactive water from the reactor core.

They also think they found the leak of radioactive water into the trench — a crack in a pipe, not a crack in the reactor core. Doesn’t mean there isn’t a crack in the core, just that the current leak is coming from a crack in a pipe. They also slowed down the flow of water into the ocean, and are trying a glass seal on some gravel to stop the flow.

I certainly won’t try to dissuade your opinion that “both Japan and the U.S. are controlled by a wealthy, corrupt oligarchy and cabal of the elites”. I will say that this is the type of language I am more used to seeing in socialist, communist, and extreme liberal press releases — it’s the rhetoric the protesters use at WTO gatherings. Given that is your basis for forming opinions, I understand why you assume things are much worse than we know.

And since it can’t be proven that we know what is happening, or that things we don’t know about aren’t happening, I can only repeat my method of operation — I worry about what we actually know, I dig to learn all I can, I read everything, not just the headlines and the opinions of the providers, and I try to keep educated. Beyond that, I try not to speculate about things we don’t yet know or act on what might happen in the future.

That way I don’t try to solve the global warming crisis, which is also due to a wealthy, corrupt oligarchy and cabal of elites that our government covers for.
