The last person President Barack Obama might expect support from is controversial Fox News host Glenn Beck. The presenter seemed to give his backing to the President against heavy criticism by Donald Trump who has questioned whether he was born in America and that he may be a Muslim. But Becks warning that Trumps remarks are making him a little uncomfortable recently may have more to do with Fox News announcing the billionaire will be given a regular slot on the station, while the hosts show may be scrapped.
He was speaking on the channels The OReilly Factor show on Friday, where he discussed Trumps two-part interview earlier in the week. Trump, who is considering whether to throw his hat into the ring to become Republican nominee for President at the 2012 election, said Obama doesnt have a birth certificate. He went on: Now, he may have one but there is something on that birth certificate maybe religion, maybe it says he's a Muslim, I don't know. Maybe he doesn't want that. Or, he may not have one. Beck told Bill OReilly There is something reasonable to, you know, a reasonable conversation if you don't believe that he has a birth certificate.
You can say, I don't believe he has a birth certificate. But then he goes into I do not believe he has a birth certificate and then he releases one that's worse than Obama's. 'And then he comes back and he says on your program, He might be a Muslim too. I'm like, come on!
After Trump made his allegations about the President who is Christian and was born in Honolulu, Hawaii he released a certificate of his own....

A twofer even.
Beck doesn’t agree on the eligibility issue but saying he backs Obama is an outright lie.
Was he threatened to shut up or is he just that stupid that he doesn't see there IS a problem with eligibility? Either way, he would of been better off just shutting his mouth, if he was going to be a chicken about the subject.
What kind of bs does this author think he is throwing?
He then released the long form! Which is exactly what he is asking the “one” to do. I think its clever as hell!
Yeah, I noticed too that caveat - ‘Christian’ and ‘born in Hawaii’.
Beck has enough trouble with Soros sending goons to threaten him and his family. He doesn’t need the added kook label that ‘birther’ always seems to publicly stick on one’s reputation.
As I’ve said before, give a fool enough rope and he will hang himself. Tata Beck!
Beck could have just stated that he hasn’t seen enough facts to form an opinion about the bc issue, but instead, he poo-poohed it.
That was a very large mistake, given that someone as high profile as Donald Trump is asking about it, and that so much of his audience is passionate about the subject. This is going to hurt him badly.
Don’t care for Beck..but I am liking Mr. Trump more and more..
Beck is pretty entertaining but Trump will probably, pardon the term, trump him.
Funny how the media and the courts are scared of odumbo.
Yeah, and we didn’t see him say “My Muslim faith” during a televised interview? Why would his Obama grandmama say he was born in Kenja if he wasn’t?
Keep buying Glenn’s books that he writes by himself.

Uh, the Trump on Fox "story" was an April Fools joke. What a stupid, lazy writer.
I suspect that Glenn Beck may be seeing an end to his association with Fox News by this summer but I don’t believe he said what he did because he feared Donald Trump would get his job. Either Beck believes that Obama is a legitimate U.S. citizen and constitutionally eligible to be president - or he doesn’t. Apparently, Beck believes the former, which is too bad because he is on the wrong side of the issue and will likely lose more of his already-dwindling audience. Too bad.
Just a thought: But some on the right, many in the middle and all on the left think Beck is a nut. If he backed the BC issue don’t you think that would totally make the issue go away? It is much better for this issue to be dismissed by the most controversial conservatives (Beck, Rove, Coulter) and credited by someone in the middle like Trump. Proof is in the traction the BC story has gotten in the past couple of weeks. I say keep up the good work Mr. Beck.
