Watch "Inside Job" - The Wall Street Horror Movie, For Free
Zero Hedge ^ | 4/2/11 | Tyler Durden

Courtesy of Open Culture, Inside Job, the scariest Wall Street "horror movie" ever produced can now be seen for free. Charles Ferguson's masterpiece is a must watch for anyone and everyone who has even a passing interest in the intersection of finance, economics, politics, corruption, crime, complacency and above all, the human inability to predict the future when the only driving force is pure greed. And as Open Culture notes, "Inside Job can be purchased on DVD at Amazon. We all love free, but let’s remember that good projects cost real money to develop, and they could use real financial support. So please consider buying a copy." We can only hope that more commentators ilke Ferguson will step up and present the criminal events leading to the greatest economic and market crash since the Great Depression.

I watched the entire movie last night.

It's not perfect. I could live a long time without the usual Marxist/class warfare stuff that rears its head. There is also not one single word about the role the CRA and interest groups (like ACORN) had in this, instead stating the banks were engaged in "predatory" lending. So, it is not comprehensive.

That said, it's worth the less than two hours of your time to watch. The Dems do not get through this movie without criticism, despite the fact the producer is a typical Hollywood lefty.

With the Senate about to release their report of findings this week, it's a good time to watch this.

Also, Charlie Rose interviewed the producer recently. And he lets Obama have it at the end:

Likewise, some of it made good points, other parts bordered on the ridiculous (Soros as an authority on integrity in government for example). But I would recommend it at this price.

The movie was well done although it could use some editing (like eliminating Soros’ part in the movie). The movie was on the spot regarding the Subprime Loan Crisis.

Fascinating movie. I saw it as an hour long commercial for a Palin presidency. Fresh blood, from as far away from NY and DC is what this country needs.

I viewed this last night; it seemed deficient on a couple items, one of which that I think helped initiate the mortgage problem, when gas/fuel prices shot to the $4 mark back in 2008 and ppl began to run into 'money problems' ...

This plot was for regular grade reformulated gasoline, in Texas BTW ... higher but not much lower in other areas ...

I’m with you.

This whole situation cries out for a corruption-busting cop and Obama is too weak, too stupid, and too beholden to Wall Street.

This is the woman Palin should hire to clean up this train wreck: Brooksley Born, even though she is a Dem.

If you want the rest of your blood to boil away, just watch this (from PBS of all places)

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/warning/

It shows what the usual suspects did to this woman who was trying to be the whistleblower on this.
