Live thread: Wisconsin Supreme Court election - Prosser vs Kloppenburg

This election is important nationally too. If Kloppenburg is elected the Wisconsin mandate by the electorate in 2010 in this state will be negated by the WI Supreme Court and the unions will have won.

I live in a hardcore conservative area and discovered today that my Prosser yardsign was mutilated and thrown into one of my plantings.

Pray for Wisconsin and for Prosser's election!

Good points. If Prosser is defeated, it will embolden and encourage all the Left, including the petition drives underway now against Republican state Senators (a challenge to one has already been successful). In addition to the tangible effect on the balance of the supreme court, there is also the impact on the battle for hearts and minds, including the 2012 election. The last thing we need is for Wisconsin voters to start feeling remorse over last Novembers sweeping changes and have to give back the momentum that has been gained.

Thank you. God be with Wisconsin. All the good work of the good people cannot be swept away by the thugs and parasites in this election.

Dear God, please see that evil does not triumph.

...and if you win the bet, well, we might as well cash in all our chips and drink ourselves into oblivion.

They will just keep shooting it down in the courts.

The democrats are actively promoting voting for someone on the judicial branch to prevent the executive and legislative branches from functioning.

This will not be allowed to occur. We will have a revolt in this state before this happens. Actually we will probablt have judges removed from the bench before that.

I doubt that, I believe it will make the Republicans stick together more. I suppose it can go either way but so far from what I’ve seen I beleive it will keep them together.

Especially given the recall attempts going on.

No, the dems will just bring it to Dane cty circuit court for another reason. They will just invent reasons and the liberal judge Sumi will allow it.

I live in a right to work state and I have been on the edge of my seat all evening, waiting for a good outcome for the fine people in Wisconsin. I love Gov. Walker and am keeping him in my prayers. What an outstanding man and so brave, he needs prayers.

Kloppenberg put up these flyers all over saying she would be a sure vote against the bill:

Is that ethical?

She should have to recuse herself if she wins.

Surely you jest! Do libturd activist judges EVER recuse themselves for any conflict of interest or any reason? Just look at the RAT bastard Judge Sumi, who should have recused herself on the union collective bargaining bill, when her son is a union official.

Dimturds & activist libturd judges NEVER follow the rules that they mandate for conservatives & Republicans. Unfortunately Repubs let them get away with it, pretty much without any exceptions. "It's time to move on" they say.

Thanks for your work on this, Sarge! I’m surprised I only learned about this particular race today.

Prayers up!

I’m in CA, but I recognize the importance of this race so I’m on pins and need;es here.

I’m hanging my hope on the fact that a lot of the traditional rat vote is unemployed and don’t value education/teachers. Blacks are heavily unemployed and don’t vote unless there’s some $jack in it for them or it’s one of their own running. Maybe they’ll stay home.

BTW, how’s the weather there? If it’s cold, it’s good for pubs. They’re more willing to make the effort in bad weather than lazy lefties are.

The collective wisdom, courtesy of the MSM and all the talkign heads, is that this is a big test for the GOP.. Well, it's even bigger for the Dems. They've gone all in..

I think Prosser wins, about 53-47. The union riots in the Capitol building got lots of publicity, but I think the majority of Wiconsin voters, who, lets not forget, only a few months ago elected Walker AND a GOP legislature, are disgusted with what happened, and can't wait to vote....

This is very important for the nation.

You're right, that's why this west-coaster is watching with interest.

Yes. Most people are unaware that there are three separate lawsuits over this bill. The Republicans believe that this bill was passed legally and they know that even if they pass it again there will be another liberal judge to to attempt to overturn it.
And personally for these people, their lives were threatened and had to have police escorts to get to their jobs. The unions took over the Capital, it was so very ugly.

If the good people do not win this one, it is all over for Wisconsin and ultimately the Nation. If the thugs win, it shows that there are more of them than they are of good people.
