FAIRLESS Hills, PA At an event at a Spanish windmill firm in Pennsylvania, President Obama suggested Americans consider selling their gas guzzlers for more fuel efficient cars. The president chided one questioner, saying: "If you're complaining about the price of gas and you're only getting 8 miles a gallon, you know,you might want to think about a trade-in."
The Associated Press reported that Mr. Obama made the comment "laughingly." However, the quote has been scrubbed from the original linked page.

Yes, our W350 Dodge Crew cab 4x4 gets 10 and sits in the garage unless we need to buck snowdrifts. Meanwhile the LT1 Trans Am gets 24MPG we drive it as much as possible, it is not a garage queen. I work with a guy that has a late 2000 corvette that averages in the high 20s no matter how he drives it. He’s driven it in snow!
But as far as weight transported for a given distance goes, they are far more efficient than any 40mpg car. But Obama doesn't mind adding a few hundred bucks to the cost of delivering a truckload of food to the people. The taxpayer pays for his wagyu beef to be flown in.

Gas is 3.69 Regular. A week ago it was 3.53. People commuting to work are now making choices between food budget for the family and gas budget to get to work to pay the bills.

Why does no one point out that no matter what your mileage might be, obama's failed policies have distorted the price of gasoline.
You could get 100 mpg and the price of gasoline would be unnaturally high due to obama's failed policies.
Honestly, I can’t complain about the limo itself. It’s pretty much perfect for protecting a sitting president that a lot of people would like to kill. I’d have felt a lot better if Bush had been riding in one of these with all the crazy libs calling for his blood. I also don’t care about the fuel use of Air Force One or the transport planes that carry the limos. It’s the price you need to pay to get the job done. You might as well start complaining that the M1 tank gets poor mileage.
The only problem is in Obama’s hypocrisy.
