The buck, or rather 27 cents in today’s market, stops at the usurper.

President Obama
28%
Congressional Democrats
26%
Congressional Republicans
27%
The Tea Party
19%
So, if you add up the Dems (Obama and Congress), 54 percent believe that the Dems are responsible. Since the Tea Party doesn’t exactly have a vote it was dishonest to include it in the questions.

Let's hit this PMS-NBC poll!

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

Uhmmmmm, why not ask the real question?

Who is holding up the entire US Budget?

Planned Parenthood

The EPA

The US Senate

This is a terrible poll. The question is biased. Anyone with a basic understanding of poling can tell. The question presumes that a government shutdown is a bad thing. A good question should not carry that bias.

There should have been two questions:

1. Who bears the most responsibility for a government shutdown?

2. Do you view a government shutdown as a good or bad thing?

I’d like to see the results of that poll.

Wrong questions on the poll—imprudent spending from Congress and present/past Presidents is the cause. Spending without regard to the impact of our future—or lack thereof. Decades of malfeasance. Now the piper must be paid.

You KNOW it's an impartial poll when the choices are the president, both parties' members of Congress and the Tea Party.

Nothing like spiking the punch.

But then that's what the Liberal operatives posing as journalists do.

I’ve always contended the same was true in ‘95. The republicans were not BLAMED for the shutdown. They were RESPONSIBLE for the shutdown. Two completely different things.

So the Tea Party is now an arm of the government?

Typical liberal pseudo-news; trying to find someone to blame. I say who deserves the credit for trying to save the republic! Much better a temporary shut down of the government now as budgets and bureaucracies are reigned in, than a permanent shut down and bankruptcy later or worse.
