Suddenly, White House aides and liberal columnists like Stuart Rothenberg and Eugene Robinson are attacking Donald Trump with a vengeance. Why?
When I asked a high-level Democrat in Washington why the full-court press was being directed at Trump, this person said, "Simple. He's touched the third rail of Obama's mysterious birth certificate and the White House and those who advocate for the president in the media are petrified that Trump's very name, stature and ability to generate headlines is going to give the subject a whole new life.
"Hence, they have to try to belittle him and marginalize him as quickly as possible before more voters start to pay attention and ask questions."
Was President Obama born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961? He says he was and that seems good enough for most people including all of the mainstream media. Does his birth, homes, youthful travel and family and oral history leave more unanswered questions than a week's worth of "Jeopardy" shows? Donald Trump and a growing list of people seem to think they do.
As Trump elevates the platform holding these questions, it's fairly obvious why at least politically, the White House and its unethical defenders in the mainstream media would try to eviscerate him. Of course, by doing so, they themselves are now bringing renewed attention to the subject of Barack Obama's birthplace, his missing-in-action original birth certificate and the qualifications to be president as spelled out in our Constitution.
Just this past weekend, senior White House adviser David Plouffe said that Trump was displaying "sideshow behavior" for daring to ask questions about the president's place and country of birth. He then went on in a predictable and hackneyed way, to state that "there's zero chance" Trump would be "hired" by the American people....

The Donald is onto something, even though a lot of Republican insiders wish he would drop it. As for the seething left and their irrational fits of slinging spit, they are doing what they do to conservatives who start gaining a little popularity. It doesn’t matter who that is. Palin gives them fits and Trump is gives them fits. They will have fits because of Herman Cain, and should Christy run, he’ll give them fits.

Instead hours upon hours and millions of dollars later the question remains. There is obviously something wrong or Obama is intentionally stringing it along for political gain (which says volumes about the kind of person he is).
Trump is going to find some of his major deals falling apart.
Paperwork will be lost, funds will dry up, partners will pull out.
He will soon start having problems with the EPA, OSHA, EEO and affirmative action complaints, union slowdowns and walkouts, accusations of racism, investigations of his finances and income, IRS audits and everything else Obama, Holder and the filthy democrats can throw at him.
Hmmmmm.
