This is not a rational thing to be asking American soldiers to do.

Get our troops out of Afghanistan NOW! I truly believe our usurper in fake chief has sent them over there to PURPOSEFULLY die!

Unacceptable!

Border Patrol Agents work their areas based upon their own knowledge of the area and where smugglers/drug runner operate. They take no direction to go after so-and-so, they go after ALL who attempt to enter this country illegally or smuggle drugs.

Border Patrol Agents are putting it all on the line to stop the flow. It is wrong to infer they are part of some nefarious US Government plot to favor one cartel/source over another. They catch all they can and they don't give a hoot who they are.

“I heard from the Mexican media. . .”

To be honest, that statement does not engender much credibility. They are much like the arab media, full of wild conspiracies where Americans are behind some diabolical sinister plot.

Every once in awhile we would catch a local VC setting up boobytraps or planting mines in the roads and we shot the SOB. They may have won the war but there were a lot fewer of them marching in the victory parade.

Exactly. They should be brought home to protect the border. Sending them over there with the rules as they are is pure suicide. I know another man who just left last week for a year tour there.

You know what else? They get 3 phone calls per month but they aren’t allowed to call a cell phone. They aren’t given the time in advance so they can let the spouse know when they’ll call. If the spouse isn’t home when they call then tough luck. They have to settle for a voice mail.

Time to leave.

Past time. Cut off all aid to Pakistan, bomb the hell out of the areas harboring Al Quida and the Taliban, declare victory and leave.

That really sucks! I’ll see what I can do to help, but my Son hasn’t been paid for his last two drills because military pay is halted right now (he needs monetary help). Please feel free to PM or FRmail me.

Easy solution: don’t catch them, shoot’em.

They are probably taking a few cues from DOH and ICE.

They should be dealt with the same way we used to deal with pirates:

If captured, pirates often faced two charges: piracy and murder (the more serious charge). The vast majority of trials lasted no longer than two days, and although tried before a jury - at least in English courts - their fate was usually a foregone conclusion. “Ye and each of ye are adjudged and sentenced to be carried back to the place from whence you came, thence to the place of execution, and there within the flood marks to be hanged by the neck till you are dead, dead, dead, and the Lord, in His infinite wisdom have mercy upon your souls…After this ye, and each of ye shall be taken down and your bodies hung in chains….” (from the sentencing of fifty-two pirates in April 1722)

Not my thing.

We would sweep for intel, and if the kill had been with a silenced weapon, hide the body. Much better for them to worry that Comrade Nuc has defected, then to know we were in the area.

The, like cats in the night.... we would leave and no one would ever kn........

See what I mean. :)
