There's been all sorts of speculation on FR on whether trump is actually a stalking horse, helping the democrats to remove obama, or a potential 3rd party candidate to split the Republican vote, from a Conservative. Rush talked about exactly that today, and about having the Donald on to discuss these thoughts, and he said he could get him within a week......I'm surprised freepers aren't already on this topic, like a duck on a june bug. 1st time I've started a post.

For now, I just take him at his word. If nothing else, it's refreshing to see someone unafraid of Obama and his Media. It really demonstrates the wimps that comprise the rest of the potential candidates.

You know what else Trumps two week campaign reflects is of how little use polls are at this point. Hundreds of threads have appeared here on which candidates are or are not polling well. Now, one guy comes out of no where and is leading?

It’s still too early to become too excited about any candidate or any particular incident. Trump is saying things and asking questions no other potential candidate has the guts to say aloud. There’s plenty of time to assess his intent.
We need a field of declared candidates and some basic position statements before we have much to go on.
