Exclusive: Trump to Announce His Run for President
Newsmax ^ | April 12, 2011 | Ronald Kessler

Posted on 04/13/2011 6:28:02 PM PDT by RobinMasters

If you wonder whether Donald Trump is serious about running for president, tune in to the finale of “The Celebrity Apprentice” on May 15.

Trump plans to say on the NBC show that he will be holding a press conference in the next few days. At that press conference in the Trump Tower in New York, Trump will be announcing his candidacy for the presidency.

Even then, many will snicker that it’s all a publicity stunt. But that defies the facts and common sense.

Of all the people on the planet, Donald Trump is the last person who needs more publicity. And if he is riding a groundswell of support, why would he—or anyone else—decide not to run?

Since writing the first story in January to report that Trump will definitely run, I have been amazed at how much the idea of a Trump presidency is catching on across the political spectrum. As I wrote in my story, Don’t Underestimate Donald Trump for President, he can be outrageous and boastful. But when it comes to a successful run at the presidency, don’t count him out.

Thanks, very scary. I think we’re being had by almost everyone, including Trump’s handlers, who are gambling that the media, all leftists, and at least half of alleged conservatives will bash Trump’s “crazy” allegations so hard so early, that the birthers will have been totally “debunked” and scorned well before Nov. 2012. FR is getting very SEEMINGLY divided on the issue thanks to my hypothesized long-term trolls being activated.

After all, if *I* can think this strategy up....

Trump may be a stalking horse for the Kenyan. Go to the FEC to see the candidates to whom Trump has donated heavily. It reads like a who’s who of Democrat politicians: Harry Reid, Rahm Emmanuel, etc.

No. I think we should get rid of insurance companies and let providers compete on price and service.

Trump runs circles around the motley crue the Reps have in the wings. Huckabee? Romney? Paw Paw? No way.

Time to bring in someone new. Hopefully he decides to run.

I smell the essence of Ross Perot.

No, that's the bullshit of Donald Trump that you're smelling.

1. I’m old enough to recall all the enthusiasm over Ross Perot too. All RP did in the end was split the Republican vote and allow Clinton to win. Trump running has that same kind of feel.

I think Trump is a clown but this is not a good analogy. If Trump runs, he’ll be running for the Republican nod, not as an independent.

That was the same logic applied to Bloomberg running for Mayor of NYC. He’s as big a statist as there is!

I will get mega heat here on this post. IF Sarah Palin or Bachman are not on the ballot I will be voting for Donald Trump.

I was leaning against Palin but I really am liking her more and more, Bachman needs to lower her interviews but she has the right ideas. She also IS THE TEA PARTY!!! So Palin and Bachman are my favorites.

But if they aren't on the ballot I'm voting for Trump and here is why:

Romney - LIB, socialist, ROMNEYCARE which led to OBAMACARE!!! WAKE UP IDIOTS THIS GUY SUCKS!!!

Newt - Loser, hypocrite, should stick to being a guest on Hannity.

Huckabee - I love his TV show, surprised that I do however this guy let go MURDERERS!!! LACK OF JUDGMENT!!!

Pawlenty - Did a commercial with Big Sis AND Charlie Crist on Global Warming, supported Cap and Tax and is trying to do a 180. This guy is dangerous and I don't want FReepers to buy into his new propaganda films on You Tube.

Want evidence of Pawlenty and his love for Global Warming? Pawlenty starring Big Sis and Charlie Crist...

Hayley Barbour - The man I most respect out of all of these candidates. However he is an unknown, doesn't have the money to run this. Mississippi is a great state and this man is an example how to run a government, however he won't get the donations and no one knows him. And for those who say well, George Bush was a governor... Well his dad was President. Ronald Reagan was governor... of the LARGEST state in the nation!!! Oh and he was a famous actor!

The Pennsylvania EX-Senator Rick Santorum. Conservative, yes, got thrown out of his seat by a rat from hell.

FINALLY. I want to hear this. "Barack... YOU'RE FIRED!!!"

Gee, I simply don’t see a big risk-taker/real-estate tycoon like Trump teaming up with a puny pizza guy from Georgia.

Trump for National Hero

Ryan / Bachmann 2012

DOH!!! I totally forgot about Paul Ryan.

After yesterday he is on my "I support list" along with Michele Bachmann, and Sarah Palin.

Paul Ryan has a solid plan to repair what Barry did to the deficit, and Barry knows this so they are switching from Sarah bashing to Ryan bashing!!!

I'm from Illinois and usually am not a fan of Wisconsin as we are huge sports rivals but Paul Ryan would be my NUMBER 1 choice for President. I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE social conservative, but I also have an MBA in Finance and know that this country will go bankrupt and turn into Portugal unless this deficit is fixed. We need a Paul Ryan who is actually willing to come up with a solid plan and implement that plan to save our country!

There was not ONE thing in the Ryan proposal I disagreed with. Ryan like Trump is coming at this with a business mind. We need someone with business experience to be President. I love Trump, I love the Apprentice, my mother before she passed away got to stay in the new Trump hotel in Chicago and was never happier it was a month to the day before she died. She loved the Apprentice and Trump. So I guess I'm sentimental. I'll freely admit that. So I'm torn. I'm not voting for any of the tools that have announced. So I'll change my order right now:

1) Paul Ryan
2) Sarah Palin
3) Michele Bachmann
4)Donald Trump

And I am going to post it again and again and again on Free Republic. TIM PAWLENTY IS A SOCIALIST!!! WATCH THIS VIDEO

PAWLENTY co-starring Big Sis and Charlie Crist on the "danger" of Global Warming!!!

PLEASE don't buy into the big LIE that Pawlenty is the man on the white horse. He is a fraud, he supports cap and tax and now is trying to revise his image into a solid conservative with over the top You Tube videos that look like a release for the last Harry Potter movie.

Pawlenty = John McCain wait....... Meghan McCain!

"Both were born to parents who were not both citizens at the time of their birth.

Neither Rubio nor Jindal is a Natural Born Citizen, regardless where they were born."

That's incorrect. The status of the parents is not relevant if the person is born within the country. This parents have to be citizens thing is a Birther fantasy. It is not, and has never been, the rule. And nothing about the phrase "natural born citizen" implies such a meaning.

What has become of this nation? We are at the point where we nominate candidates based on celebrity status? We put lawyers in charge of our legislature who only agree on bills that are advantages to them, and a judicial branch of questionable abilities. We complain of the congressional benefits and yet we don’t understand why those who are receiving them would not vote to remove them? The whole election process has become a farce. This is not the USA I remember growing up in after WW II. You folks are doomed! Its only a mater of time, welcome to the 3rd world. Trump? He’s a freaking ego maniac, just like Obama. If he runs as an Independent he’s nothing more than a spoiler, Obama will win with only 34% of the votes because our dumb ass system does not have run off elections. Agrrrrrrrr!!!!
