New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg was there. So was Al Sharpton and AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka. Not on the invitation list? Any active governor from any border state. Which is odd since the meeting held yesterday at the White House was titled: Presidents Meeting with Stakeholders on Fixing the Broken Immigration System.
Are the active governors of our nations border states not stakeholders in our broken immigration system? Not for this White House. From day one, the Obama administration has sought to undermine state law enforcement cooperation and authority over illegal immigration. Within months of taking office, the Department of Homeland Security weakened the 287(g) program that President bill Clinton created in 1996 to increase cooperation on border enforcement between federal and local law enforcement. Since then the Department of Justice has gone to war with Arizona over their law enforcement efforts instead of working with them.

Now THAT’s “Transparency”! S/
This guy is just surreal, evil, but surreal.
It’s transparent alright.
I was not invited either, I could tell how it works, when the BP catches eighty or ten illegals in your yard in the middle of the night, and all hell breaks loose, helicopters over head, lights flashing, dogs barking.. people screaming, and all our neighbors wondering what you did...

*Redistribute* parts of the American SW back to Mexico.
We can blame the Globalist for this. They’re still wanting to see a *united* North America.
You know it is way past the time for the border governors to stand together and take action by withholding all funds from the federal government and using that money to fund border security. I realize Gov Moonbeam probably would not do it but it is evident that our government is being run by those who want to do us harm. It is time to force the issue that the federal government’s job is to secure the borders and if they will not, then we will.
‘How is Al Sharpton a “stakeholder” here?’
Hes the race baiters representative.
Agreed. Perhaps Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico could combine to form their own country.
Build and man a serious border with Mexico. And California.
The question is will Meskins be smart enough to see they are being used by this Marxist, Kenyan Moo-slim scumbag. If he had really want to do something he would have when he had all of Congress. This is just to make an issue to make Meskins vote for him or against GOP.
The law, our borders, America don’t mean anything to this steaming pant load.
And for his next act he will install wet back welcome wagons along the border with papers.
Bratton is the same one who's continued Daryl Gates's Special Order 40, despite the fact that Los Angeles is the gang capital of the United States.
