ABC devoted its entire "This Week" on Easter Sunday to "God and Government," and not surprisingly the question of President Obama's faith prominently entered the discussion.
When it did, Cokie Roberts said, "The bad part about this is that it's acceptable to say that he's a Muslim because the same people won't say, 'I don't like him cause he's black'" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

RICHARD LAND, SOUTHERN BAPTIST CONVENTION: Forty seven percent of white people voted for him.
Actually, it's 43 percent, but still a spectacular point by Land that most on the panel missed and most in the country ignore. They also forget that shortly after his inauguration, Obama's favorability rating was around 75 percent. That includes a lot of white people as well.
What the media just can't get their hands around is that disapproval of Obama today isn't because he's black - it's because of his policies. Or do the 70 percent of the country that now believe the nation is on the wrong track also feel this way because the President is black?

Calling Americans racist, despite there being an African-American in the White House, is acceptable on Easter Sunday.
I doubt I'm the only one that felt this was highly inappropriate on such a holy day.
All one has to do is say I love his african/arab side, I hate his white side... then they cannot call you names...

No kidding!!!! Who gives a crap what color he is? Except a very few people, you always have some of those around. When he first became President I thought, ok, he’s President, give him a chance. But, every time I thought, well, he seems likable enough, nice enough. I’d remember about how he voted on babies that were born alive after abortions. How cold and evil does a person have to be, to just say, let’em die with no help, no comfort, nothing. Just let them die. Even planned parenthood didn’t object to the born alive act(I think that’s what it was called) What kind of human being is this man? To me, that says more about who he is, and the hardness of his heart then anything else he says or does. The callousness of that, is actually frightening.
I don’t call him Muslim. Muslims worship Allah. Barack Obama worships...himself.
Why would anyone care what Cokie Roberts thinks or says???
If we were talking about his ancestry, we don't know who his father was. He certainly doesn't look like Barack H. Obama Sr. From an appearance perspective, he looks like a Lebanese, Greek, North African descendant of the Phoenicians, or Arabians. He certainly doesn't look or sound black. He clearly isn't the descendant of the North American Slave culture.
The reason we suggest his Muslim commitment is because his policies are uniformly structured to favor the Muslim objective and point of view under circumstances in which the Muslim books of belief sanction lying about belief to further the Muslim cause.
Republicans are racists, how original. Wonder how long it took Kookie to figure that one?
