Murder at Tomb Illustrates the Future of Jewish Holy Sites in a Palestinian State
Commentary Magazine ^ | 4/24/11 | Jonathan S. Tobin

Today’s attack on Jewish worshippers at Joseph’s Tomb in Nablus needs to be understood as something more significant than just another unfortunate instance of violence between Jews and Arabs. It is nothing less than a warning of what will happen once Palestinians achieve full sovereignty, as the Obama administration appears to be demanding, over all of the West Bank. The incident occurred when a group of religious Jews, members of the Breslov hasidic sect visited the Jewish holy site this morning unaccompanied by Israeli soldiers. The tomb is located in the city of Nablus

Israel must never allow this- every Jewish holy site and inch of the Land of Israel must be kept by Israel. To do otherwise is nothing less than suicide.

it is the difference between Jews and Palis,
If the Jews owned or controled Other religions shrines they’d set up shop and open it to visiters and make a buck.
Palis just destroy others stuff.

It’s what happens when you marry first cousins- something Moshe Rabbeinu (Moses) warned us against 3.325 years ago.

What the Jews did was open the sites to all religions. It is the first time in centuries that there is religious freedom. In Israel, all faiths are allowed and function freely.

So stupid... especially when Joseph himself insisted that he be buried in the Promised Land, not in a place that was occupied by modern day Amalekites!

I pray that Israel does the right thing and re-establish its authority in all Jewish (and all Christian, please) holy areas. The Jewish people have suffered far too much and far too long throughout all of human history to have to settle for any less.

Each member of the US Congress has authorized
the Impostor pRes_ _ent, Imam of his 57 States,
to take US taxpayer money and kill Jews in this
instance, and generally to arm al Qaeda against America.

Where are the thousands of missing shoulder fired missiles
from Libya, Congress?

Why are US Taxpayers paying for the extermination of Israel and America, Congress?

They all deserve to be indicted by grand juries this week.

That isn’t true at all. Israel took control of the Temple mount and Jerusalem in 1967. To this day they prohibit Jews from going up to the temple mount - only Muslims are allowed up there (at no charge). Jews must pray at the wall below (and sometime get stones thrown on them from the Muslims above).

They also handed the Church of the Sepulcher over to a committee of various Churches including Eastern Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic, and Roman Catholic Churches, with the Greek Orthodox Church having majority of the control. Coptic Orthodox, Ethiopian Orthodox and Syriac Orthodox also have some responsibilities. People contribute to enter but the “Jews” (Israelis) don’t profit from it.

To my knowledge it is still free to walk the Via Dolorosa. I remember, it was 19 years ago, we started along the path and found a good samaritan (perhaps not literally) who knew all about it and was eager to take us on the complete tour and give us as many details as he could remember.

Under Israeli control the sites are administered perhaps too fairly, unfair only in the “extra precaution” given to Muslims because the Muslim sensibilities seem to be 100% different from that of Jews and Christians. To them, an infidel stepping foot on the temple mount holy to all is an affront worthy of stoning, beating, rioting, and perhaps death. Everyone else reveres the holy places and wants them to be shared and appreciated by all. I hope Israel will open up the Temple mount to all visitors soon.

The enemies of Klal Yisrael will leave, either in a prudent way, back to their own homelands, or else, they will be driven out. There is no third way. “See”, HaShem says, “I have placed before you life and death. Choose Life, that you may live!” If they insist on their fantasy of exterminating the Jews, it is they who will be annihilated either by the able and anointed IDF or by G-d himself. It's time to “Leave Israel or Oblivion. Make your choice."

The murderers were Palestinian police, who apparently were trained in part by American taxpayer funds. How dumb of a policy is that?

Debbie Schlussel has a good blog on this:

You can only cover up the lies of others so much before you start to live the lie, become the lie and believe the lie yourself, thus giving up your sanity. The Western Media has covered up the lies of Islam for so long that they are now as insane as the insane savages themselves.

Palis are spoiled rotten evil children. All they can do is destroy. And their supporters in the West are a real hoot: sick deluded lefty Islamists, a real contradiction in terms.

All one has to look at is the grow houses turned over to the palis that were producing much needed veggies.
They took the equipment and hocked it all.
These Pali fools must have been to American public schools

This really shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Before Israel's independence, the blowing of the Shofar (a ritual blowing of a ram's horn, done on the High Holy Days) would bring the death penalty, with the British authorities "wink and nod." It wasn't until Jerusalem and "the West Bank" was retaken by Israel, that Jews were "allowed" access to the Western Wall, the holiest site in Judaism. To this day, it's not all that unusual for muslims to throw rocks down on Jews who pray there.

It's only since Israel has controlled those areas is the free exercise of religion possible.

Anybody else remember how the muslim palis desecrated the Church of the Holy Seplechure (sp?)

Mark
