(CNN) - As Katie Couric gets set to leave CBS News after five years in the anchor chair, it doesn't appear as if Sarah Palin will be sending any flowers.
Appearing on Fox News Tuesday, Palin mocked the CBS newswoman who told People Magazine she is looking forward to a new position that will facilitate "multi-dimensional storytelling."
"Yeah, and I hear that she wants to now engage in more 'multi-dimensional story telling' versus I guess just the 'straight on, read into the, that teleprompter screen story telling,'" Palin said. "More power to her. I wish her well in her - 'multi-dimensional story telling.'"
Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, who's interview with Palin produced one of the most memorable political foibles of the 2008 presidential campaign.

Cutie Katie is an ultra left wing moonbat who probably couldn’t formulate a coherent statement without a teleprompter, just like someone else we know. Birds (buzzards) of a feather.
Palin has repeatedly made clear she is still no fan of Couric, who’s interview with Palin...
The Immoral Adulterous media needs to go. We are tired of their biases to the left and their sneering at American Families and the Constitution.
Katie has been hemorrhaging viewers. Let her just keep on going. She's doing a good job taking down the Liberal/Progressive media with her.
IMO-Palin has decided not to run and she feels free to call like she sees ‘em (not that she didn’t before).
katie was always about her looks. Having to try to do real news intersected with her middle age and no other result was possible but her ouster.
I join Mrs. Palin in hopes that katie finds something more suited to the latter’s abilities: reading stories to kindergartners.
Palin has every right to be mad at Couric; she exposed Palin as a know-nothing spokesmodel and cost the GOP any shot at retaining the White House. That engenders quite a bit of bitterness, I hear.
NO!!! Keep that left wing moonbat far away from da chillun’
I’m telling a terrible sto-ry but it
doesn’t diminish my glo-ry
As long as the Kindergarteners don’t ask her any hard questions like why the three little piggies went “wheeeee” all the way home. That is WAY over her head.
Lock your doors, windows and caps. The Palin-bots will be along any moment looking to eat your BRAINS!!!
I hear The Today Show has an opening...
McCain was NOT the GOP. He’s Democrat-light. Hell, for that matter he’s way left of RINO.
Beg pardon? Where were you on September 15, 2008?
I thought Palin sounded snarky last night about Couric. Not good for a presidential candidate. She needs to ignore these kinds of issues.
Well, actually, Katie only managed to make Palin look foolish by turning to her editors, who made selective cuts in the interview before showing it, thus misrepresenting what Palin actually said.
And that was hardly Palin’s fault. McCain’s operators hated her, and deliberately set her up with two unfriendly interviewers, both of whom edited the interviews before showing them, while preventing Palin from giving real interviews, which she is very good at.
Like it or not, Palin needs to make friends in the media, not alienate them, in spite of what she may personally think of them.
Yes, there are those, like me, who like somebody who can throw it back in their face. But I also know, that I am in the minority on that.
“The, like, spell checker didn’t, like, catch it, so it must be, like, OK?”

Katie is moving on by choice and the words about more dimensional story telling are her words of the moment. Why cast Sarah as being less than gracious?
Someone trying to make points, made a catty response to their (Katie and Sarah”) comments. Totally unnecessary. MO
Sarah receives criticism not deserved in regard to anything she says or does. Notice she ignores it. It is always a ploy to make the public think less of her from those of ill intent. MO
Not that she is running, but what does a presidential candidate sound like? Like the stuff that the President is putting out these days, about Paul Ryan of all people.
BUT... I'll take a single faux pas from an experienced and capable governor over a career-wide pattern of inadequacy and bias from an past-it, cheer-leading simpleton passing herself off as a professional ‘journalist’, ANY DAY!!!
-——Palin needs to make friends in the media-——
That is a ridiculous statement. She nor any other Republican presidential candidate can not make friends with the MSM. They will not have it.
The MSM is the enemy.......write it 100 times till embedded firmly.
To kiss media ass is to lose control. To go in defense is to lose.
Attack, attack, attack
Have to say that Couric has always been a pretty tough interviewer. Palin let herself walk into that trap not well-prepared probably because she has had never watched the Today Show.
Couric couldn’t outwit Sarah if she had a team of writers whispering in her ear. YES, it is refreshing to have a candidate (we hope) who is not afraid of them, or their Democrat mas’sahs one bit.
Even at Fox she has enemies.
Reagan was always respectful of the media, even though he knew they disagreed with him. He knew how to charm them. You catch more flies with honey, than with vinegar.
Do you think that Perky Katie will make a good Modern Major-General?
Okay, this “hoos30” person is definitely a troll. It has about 10 posts in the last 9 years. Hit and run troll, all the way.
Sad to see some folks are still buying the smear campaign against Palin hook, line, and sinker.
Your response reminds me of my son’s Pop Warner football team. The coach’s wife had team shirts made that said, “Who’s House? Our House!”
It was a running joke with most of the parents. A few, though, still did not get it.
There are a lot of reasons that Palin stumbled on that interview. What is especially disingenuous coming from the MSM and other Liberals, is that THEY made it appear as a basic and systemic, never-to-be rectified problem.
NOT SO. However, The MSM harped on it and magnified it out of all proportion to its actual significance. American voters being the malleable knuckleheads they are, it worked.
It was NEVER demonstrated that Palin is pathologically ill-informed or uneducated and since she was on a short leash with McCain, she permitted herself to be handled in a really shabby way by these clowns who can not THEMSELVES pass the simplest acid test for credibility, character, intellect, or anything else.
It is one of the main reasons I NEVER watch political interviews
“You catch more flies with honey, than with vinegar.”
It’s that sort of flawed thinking that has been getting good Conservatives DESTROYED of late.
Reagan lived in a different era of media.
Any Conservative that treats the media in any manner other than the enemy is asking for trouble or is simply a watered down version of the kind of leaders we need.
I believe taking the high road here would prove far more beneficial.
If Reagan were still here today, do you think he would have taken the same approach that Palin has?
yes Im beginning to think you are right. She will not run this time but she will one day.
CAT FIGHT !!!
No, and he would be destroyed for it.
Reagan married into wealth.

She didn't bring Couric up....Greta did ! And Palin wasn't "snarky" at all; it was actually funny.
And for those blaming Sarah, it was Nicole Wallace, who had worked for Couric ( that should tell you something, right there! ), who set the interview up and was in charge of getting Palin prepped for it. The interview was many hours long and then edited to put Sarah in the worst possible light possible.
If Reagan were alive to day and said some of the things he did back then ( especially the thing about not blaming his opponent for his young age ), he would be made fun of, that statement would be called "SNARKY", at the least, and worse.
“Not that she is running, but what does a presidential candidate sound like? Like the stuff that the President is putting out these days, about Paul Ryan of all people.”
I agree. Palin is not going to run but still why take a swipe at Katie Couric? It looks petty. Nobody cares about Couric. Why bother?
There is NO disconnect between Palin and American voters. Agree or disagree...we have a common frame of reference in values and traditions which have been unquestionably American for as long as anyone can remember.
“O” (as all Liberals) needs to qualify himself to Americans until the day he dies. They are perceptibly and effectively alienated from traditional America and they chose to pursue this intentionally. They are proud of it!
“Because it equates tradition with prejudice, the left finds itself increasingly unable to converse with ordinary people in their common language.” Christopher Lasch
She just sounds like your average snarky poster on FR. I want someone better than that as President. I cannot even imagine Reagan making small petty comments like this.
I'll never forget the Dan Quayle "Potato(e)" thing.
Your assumption is invalid, terribly invalid. The msm Reagan tolerated is not the same today. Today’s MSM are rabid leftists intent on destruction. Not a one should be courted or made a friend.
The MSM is the enemy of conservatism.
Tolerating the MSM is to lose the battle.
It is so easy. There is no reason to turn the other cheek. Your concept is defeatist in 2011
