I’d trust Trump a hundred times more than Obama. He’s been there, done that.

Imagine—any sane person wishing to “shrink” the deficit? /s

Republicans want a shrunken American government.
And a real leader, not some socialist.

That means O equates the government with being America. Not that I ever doubted that’s what he thought but it’s refreshing to see him admit it.

Another issue to bludgeon Obama with!!!!!
While resisting calls for cuts in government spending by accusing supporters of trying to “shrink America”, this president has told the citizens that they need to sacrifice their lifestyles, use less gas, eat less food and basically give up some of their hard-earned wealth.

Shrink the government or shrink America. that is the choice. The government is not the country.

The government is not like the brain of the country. We can think for ourselves.
The government is more like the stomach of the country. It keeps devouring as much of our time, money and resources as it can getting fatter and fatter as long as it can until we put it on a diet.
It is time for a very strict diet.

Obama: Republicans push vision of "shrunken America" Well, he does have a point. The Republican vision of America omits seven of the 57 states.

A little late for me to respond to your post, but your line about “0bama’s Magic Math” really strikes a chord with me, as it points out the greatest frustration I’ve had about 0bama and his MSM propaganda machine. Forget about the birth certificate, academic records, radical church and all that just for a minute. This is an issue that directly pertains to policy and governance.
Starting back in the 2008 campaign, it was obvious he was just pulling random numbers out of a hat to tell people what they wanted to hear. Anyone with a little God-given ability to think critically and who could do basic 3rd grade math calculations should have been able to figure out that any set of numbers he spouted were nonsense and the math never added up properly. But he always got a pass from the media, and he hasn’t changed his playcalling one bit. It’s an old football adage; if a play is working, keep running it until they stop it.
Look at the fiscal mess we are in now thanks to 0bama’s Magic Math.

I absolutely agree with your point. What I don’t understand is that the MSM seems to think that they are exempt from the facts. Their whole position is one of adolescence and/or mental incompetence being totally void of critical thought.

Not only is it an opportunity to further the "Big Green" agenda of his allies but, at its core, a once free people becomes more malleable when beaten down by hard times. Not only is it an opportunity to further the "Big Green" agenda of his allies but, at its core, a once free people becomes more malleable when beaten down by hard times.
EXACTLY!
The "beaten down by hard times" of the 1930's is what got us into the welfare state we are in! The people were willing to listen to the elites who basically said that the government can make sure we never have these problem again! Let's create a Fed to control the money! Let the government "save" your money for your future!
It was nothing more than the government getting its hands on YOUR money! The people thought that the government was sincere when all they were is PROGRESSIVE POWER GRABBERS! It has been getting worse ever since!

"We've got a lot of work to do to continue to lower the unemployment rate and grow the economy," Obama said. Oh. So that must mean there are more UbamaCare waivers coming down the pike.

Look at the fiscal mess we are in now thanks to 0bamas Magic Math.Of course it is obvious that everything Obama has done and is doing is bad for America.
The only question is: Is Obama a TRAITOR and is he doing damage on purpose?
The obvious answer is of course he is doing everything he can to destroy America.

I'm glad the Bamster clarified this for me.
I'm glad to know that for the Bamster, America and the ever-expanding welfare state are synonymous.
