I think my cynicism played into falling for the birther issue. So much about Obama is a lie it seemed somewhat logical that this could be as well. I sort of see what you’re saying about 1992 but we all know Obama will fight much harder than Bush did to get reelected. Also, who is our Clinton? By that, I mean someone relatively unknown who comes across as charismatic and competent. Even though I don’t like him, Bill Clinton is still the most skilled politician in my lifetime since I can only remember Reagan’s last year of two in office.
