Michelle Bachmann in the primaries. What say you guys?
Myself(Vanity)

If things remain as they are in the Republican Primary field, especially if Sarah decides not to run, then Michelle seems to be a good choice for a conservative to vote for.

Nobody is perfect but she seems okay. Hermain Cain isn't too bad either. Both these people are great conservatives, its just a question of how much support they will be able to get.

Exactly my view. That’s why I don’t think Palin or Bachman are remotely plausible. I love Palin to death and I can tell by your screen name that you do also, but I see no way she could ever beat Obama.

My sole belief is to put someone in there that can beat him. I don’t always vote that way, but in 2012 I will. Even if I have to hold my nose to do it.

SPINELESS on Obama eligibility, along with ALL candidate except Trump.

Of course all in Congress are spineless vermin relating to eligibility.

Bronze tan...it’s not defeatist...it’s a winning formula and realistic.

I realize how passionate you are, but sorry, it’s not going to happen in a country this divided. Not in a million years. If the country wasn’t so evenly split, maybe, but no way in the current space.

Several Freepers are saying Bachmann won’t be able to beat obama.

Wrong.

What they’re missing is that the economy will TANK by October. Prob July actually. And by “TANK,” I mean make these days seem like “the good old days.” Seriously.

When - not if, but when - that happens, a ham sandwich will be able to beat obama...

No. She let Snuffleupagus whoop her — how can she run against obama?

That was a embarrassing thing to witness.

I think West would suit nicely. No one makes him back down. AND he doesn’t appear to be corrupt.

It doesn't matter what we want...Iowa rules the election!

Boo, Hiss, Boo.

Okay. Point taken. So then the question is, if not her, then who?

I really like Bachmann, but you should also check into IA Congressman Steve King.

Yes! If West runs, I will crawl over broken glass and razor blades - rusty ones - to help in the primaries. My first tshirt on Zazzle: Obama’s a Zero, West’s a Hero. With appropriate graphics.

Palin? Broken glass.

Bachmann? Broken glass, but only in the generals. Not the primaries.

If the economy is bad enough and if the media has not convinced Americans the Republican controlled congress is to blame, yes a ham sandwich could beat Obama. Should this happen, do we have a ham sandwich smart enough to put this country back on track???

I support Palin without hesitation, but I could also support Bachmann because of her conservative views. Bachmann may even have a better chance with the Independents, and they are needed to win.

I am in total agreement with you. She is nice, knows of what she speaks but...there is something lacking. I dont’ know what it is but...it is evident. Does that sound funny? I dont’ mean it to. Perhaps she’s just not there yet. I like her a lot but....something is holding me back from endorsing her. Makes me feel bad but....it’s just not there.

I am hoping someone convinces Steve Forbes to run for President.

I like him too but as far as I know, he won't run.

Yup. West, Palin, Cain, and DeMint. Why they’re at the top of my list...

If she's the nominee, I'd vote for her, of course. Might be a moot point. I think 2012 is going to be a blow out and whomever the Rinos decide to run against Obama will whip him like a mule.

I think gas will be 6 bucks a gallon on election day and a freaking dead cat would beat Obama.

It would be really great if DeMint were running. I was hoping very much that he would run but sadly I think he has ruled out running in 2012. If I am not mistaken I remember reading that somewhere

BTW, it’s not just about smarts IMHO. It’s also about conviction, character, and principles. Again, why I prefer West. Palin, Cain, and DeMint...

Perhaps West, Cain, DeMint; not so sure about Palin.

“Are we really going to be this stupid? I love what she stands for, but she cannot win the general election.”

So, if I understand you right... Why don’t we nominate a RINO like we did last time, and we can skip the general election all together. Is that what I’m hearing from you?
