Of course, Press did not secure the certificate directly from the Department of Health, Osama's body will never be confirmed by non-administration sources(buried at sea, hopefully wrapped in a pig) and cure to cancer just about to be released by Obama?

0bama’s popularity was tanking, but now he will enjoy a large bounce. He took full credit for the work of The CIA and Navy Seals. I wouldn’t be surprised if he used this as an excuse to end the War on Terror.
Be thankfull it was not the week before the presidential election.
I was initially thinking along the same lines... He is trying to clean up all the loose ends to insure his re-election despite low poll ratings.
Only problem with this scenario is that election day is is over a year and a half away. It would have been smarter to pull and October Surprise.

Yeah, without a doubt, the timing on this is completely suspect.
There was a dead Osama pic posted to Facebook last night.... someone said her son (currently deployed in Afghanistan) had received it about a week ago and was holding it to send them after the news went out. Then someone else said, “Hey, that same picture was on the Web back in February.” Curious, isn’t it?
But the economy is still in dangerous shape, the Fed is still printing money, Obamacare is poised to wreck the health care system, illegal immigration is still a huge problem, the homosexual agenda is still being pushed and the Obama administration is pursuing arms deals that weaken our defenses and destabilize the world.
I'm sure Nixon got a bump from the moon landing occurring on his watch, but of course the ground work was done well before he came to office as president.
So we have to stay on message, and keep pointing out the problems with Obama’s agenda and providing an alternative.
If anyone could mess up a chance to re-take the White House under these circumstances, it would be the Republicans. But we have to keep their feet to the fire politically to do the right thing. Last November was a start.
As for the birth certificate, people are still looking at that situation, and we'll see what happens.
If OBL was not dead, it would be easy as hell to tape another video holding a newspaper, and make Obama look like the biggest idiot in history. He’s dead. Be happy. Stop embarrassing us.

I hear ya. Yes we have his family in custody and I assume video of the op as it went down. Yet we also have a shifting story, burial at sea,and interesting timing in relation to the birth certificate that lends a taint to the whole thing.
Even so, the problem with a sugar high is that you eventually crash. The crash is going to suck with $5 gasoline and spiraling food prices. Things may have the opposite effect of what Obama wants.

I'm certain he's dead. I'm happy. But dumping the carcass at sea so quickly was a major blunder. It will only feed conspiracy theories like we see working on this and other threads, and leaves open the very real possibility that al Queda will in upcoming weeks be releasing videos of bin Laden proudly proclaiming that rumors of his death are greatly exagerated - I wouldn't put it past the old goat to have made a few such tapes before his death, suitably devoid of any clues as to the dates of their production. They could even brag about unspecified attacks, with the intention of being released after al Queda has managed to pull of some atrocity somewhere after his demise.
They should have done this like they did in the old west when they dispatched some desperado. bin Laden's body should have been photographed tied to a door and propted up against a building with armed-to-the teeth grinning Seals standing on both sides of it.
And add to your list—a President who lies about everything to the point that if he says the sky is blue, people want independent confirmation.
