The White House release of a copy of Barack Obama's long-form Hawaian birth certificate continues to raise more questions – since the name of the president's attending physician differs from previous published reports.
The name on the purported birth certificate lists Dr. David Sinclair as the obstetrician who delivered Obama in 1961.
But reports by the Buffalo News and supposedly confirmed by the hoaxbusting website Snopes.com indicate the name of Obama's birth physician was Dr. Rodney T. West.
Here is an image of what the White House claims is Obama's official, long-form birth certificate, with Sinclair's name listed as the doctor.

Answer: Because the forgers hand got tired.
Look at the BC PDF file and blow (1000 times) up the area that has the doctor’s signature and the mother’s signature. Note that the pixel size is different. That means they were scanned with different scans, period... Since the signatures attest to the rest of the information on the form, that makes it all invalid.
Was a long form birth certificate released or was it a COLB?
I would need to check this out, but if this BC is a worked- over Nordyke(sp) twins BC the lazy forgers probably left the Dr and hospital unchanged.
Easy: Because Dr. Sinclair did the paperwork for Dr. West and filled out what was then an unremarkable birth certificate form. Doctors doing charting for their collegues is nothing new under the sun.
Two doctors? That’s easy to explain, one for Obama and one wish for his ego!

At the time of Obama’s birth they knew that this child in the manger would someday be POTUS. Two doctors were required to be present in order to ensure that all would be well.

The West account is just a memory. He could have been merely present or knew about it.
It is routine for nurses or other doctors to forge the signature of the attending physician if the latter cannot be found when the paperwork is being processed, but they wouldn’t put their own name on the document if, in fact, they weren’t the attending.

They would if they were tired or if no one at that particular hospital really cared about that particular procedure. I guess I look at it from the perspective of someone in 1961 looking at an unremarkable baby born to a less-than-remarkable mother whose family was of no particular significance and I can see no one at the time giving a rip about dotting their ‘i’s and crossing their ‘t’s.
As to the ‘African’ thing, I’m guessing it’s what Ann Dunham said and someone just wrote it down.
