**Officials: SEALs thought bin Laden threatening** ( So Osama WAS Armed??)
Associated Press ^ | 5/5/2011 | KIMBERLY DOZIER and ERICA WERNER

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama ordered grisly photographs of Osama bin Laden in death sealed from public view on Wednesday, declaring, "We don't need to spike the football" in triumph after this week's daring middle-of-the-night raid. The terrorist leader was killed by American commandos who burst into his room and feared he was reaching for a nearby weapon, U.S. officials said.

Several weapons were found in the room where the terror chief died, including AK-47 assault rifles and side arms, the officials said. They spoke on condition of anonymity as they offered the most recent in a series of increasingly detailed and sometimes-shifting accounts of bin Laden's final minutes after a decade on the run.

I bet the military brass is absolutely pissed that the WH allowed Jay Carney to go in front of the press and confirm that the SEALs took out someone who was NOT armed.

After they put themselves in danger like that, the military must be seething that the administration actually tried to yank the rug from under them like that.

This must mean that the rumors are true, and that there really are two warring factions going against each other inside the WH.

The WH was TOTALLY irresponsible to make this big claim in front of the entire world vis-a-vi their incompetent Press Secretary, Jay Carney.

There must be some reason behind this armed/unarmed story. If these were intelligent people, maybe we'd be witnesses of a counter-terror misinformation operation. Or maybe they're stupid like Trump says.

“I am beginning to think that all those reports about Valerie Jarrett are true.”

I am heavily leaning in the same direction. It certainly all fits with Obama’s psychological profile, his past history as a *decision* maker....and a good bit of circumstantial evidence.

I think that Zer0 really didn't want to go ahead with this particular mission, but was pushed ( so to speak ) into doing it.

He decision against releasing the photographs is his personal way of "getting back" at those that took him in this direction.

Just like Valerie Jarrett said there was "no way" that Zer0's college transcripts were getting released, she is probably demanding that there be no release of the OBL photos.

The third guy on the recently published Reuters’ photos of the inside of the campound (photos leaked by a Pakistani official) is definitely the dead body of Khaled Bin Laden, Osama’s son, that being the first visual and undeniable proof that the Bin Laden family was at that campound that night.

If he so much as moved his head, he was resisting and was a threat. End of story.
Thank you to our brave and talented men who made this happen. God bless them.

And God bless every other American who has served in the war on terror. Their efforts helped to lead up to this day.

Who cares if he was armed? On 9/11, OBL didn’t care if anyone on the planes or in the twin towers were armed. F$ck him and F$ck the mooslims and idiot liberals that have selective outrage.

A murdered martyr stirs up more jihadi rage than OBL dying of illness in bed.

I am becoming more and more convinced that when the SEAL team entered the last room they found OBL dead; killed by his guards who had then killed themselves. The SEAL team would not have killed OBL if he were not a threat, and the silly stories the WH has been telling the last two days are too contradictory for any of them to be true. So the official story, to make BHO look like a hero, had to be that BHO had ordered the team to kill OBL, but the mission had been to capture him if at all possible. The reason why it took so long to make the announcement and for BHO to give his self congratulatory speech was because they needed to try to get their stories straight. Apparently they failed in that mission.

I have never in my life seen such childish incompetence from a President.

The truth will out. The problem is that when it finally does, nobody will be able to recognize it.

The best story, IMO, would have been that Osama was unarmed, and one of the woman was trying to protect him, and Osama was hit with crossfire ;) It would be nice if there could be a sympathetic way to say he was a wuss at the end, yet we didn’t intentionally shoot an unarmed man. Would help on so many levels. The key, if no proof is forthcoming, to come up with a narrative that fulfills the needs of the USA and denies the desires of Al Qaeda. The way the world is, it is tragic that we have to worry about whether or not he was armed etc, but it does make a difference to many.

The SEALS knew that he needed it and deserved it. I agree with them.

Their story looks like it’s ‘evolving’ into a place where they can setup our hero SEALs to be fall guys in all of this.

Those political idiots should have let the Pentagon handle ALL of the aftermath of this, rather than keeping it in the White House. It has been a mess.

In 2011, these seems to me to be a pointless semantics argument based on outdated notions.

Here, we were dealing with a ruthless terrorist in a world where you can detonate an explosive device with a cell phone.

Tell me what constitutes “armed” these days.

Bin Laden would have to be considered a threat at all times purely based on the nature of who he was.

Doesn’t matter if he was armed.

General George S. Patton, world war two. “You had better kill the sonsofbitches, cause if you don’t, they will sure as hell kill you”. War is hell, as a vet. who has been there!

The terrorist leader was killed by American commandos who burst into his room and feared he was reaching for a nearby weapon, U.S. officials said.

That makes no sense at all. If OBL had any weapon near him when the team entered the room, it would have been in his hands already. These anonymous people must think the American people are really stupid. But then they voted this clown into office, so maybe they are.

OBL was already dead before the team entered the room. That is becoming the only scenario that makes sense.

Looks like none of the Perps made it out of their bedrooms. One hell of a firefight? From the Paki photos not one shell cartridge laying around, they claim they didn't find any. The bad guys had the high ground to shoot down on our guys, yet supposedly no injuries.

I'm going with that the Perps were crapping their Pants and cowering in their bedrooms and made no attempt to fight back. They were killed anyway because they needed killing, which is the way it is in war.

Obozo can't comes to term with this, and that is why we are seeing the story change daily on what went down.

Personally, I believe the same.

He was killed by his bodyguards per his standing orders.

Well, I heard there were people who actually advised Obama to do nothing, and I'm a little surprised he didn't take that advice.

If Zero isn't a muzzie, he's a muzzie sympathizer, putting their "needs" ahead of America.
Despicable.
