I swear I’ve never given Tristan cat coffee.
He’s confused enough as it is.
Tristan is... Tristan.
There really is no explaining that cat.
He’s 18 pounds of ‘duh’ that is terrified of the lovebird.
He loves to sit in the sun.
For the image I waited til he was asleep.
He noticed me enough to wake up about the same time I snapped the pic.
It’s okay, Darks. I believe you. Everybody should know that Darksheare’s coffee makes animals and people into fast ZOMBIES, so if an animal is lazy and quiet, it definitely has *not* had any of it.
I have a ZOMBIE deer infestation in my yard to prove it.
Not to forget the little incident where Darks “accidentally” slipped some of his coffee into my latte. Good thing he had the antidote recipe for me.
I have never known a totally sane cat, so it’s all right. I bet Tristan loves you.
The deer keep the neighborhood kids from trespassing.
Of course, you could hear noises from the backyard like the Fast Zombies from Half Life 2.

He sits next to me while he sleeps, belly skyward snoring away.
Yes, the cat snores.
My Rocket and Miss Hissy Slashy both snore, and Hubby swears that MHS was raised by dogs.
Tristan has a sister named Rags.
She draws the ire of hummingbirds.
They flock to the window to look in at her and harass her.
I dunno, they’re both talented.
Rags snores. Loudly.

I had very little to do with naming poor Tristan.
If I had, he’d have been named Bartwharg or something bizarre.
Alright, alight.. So I DID name a cat “Kearen”.
But I’m also the guy who named a pet lizard “Wretched Wratchet”.
Dad’s cat NiMH ‘talks’ in his sleep.
He also responsively vocalises if you speak to him.
Odd animal.
Lucas, Prince of Darkness and I have frequent conversations.
Here he is on the faux-concrete cat:
At his right on the floor is the late Slinker, and behind him is my Rocket. Slinker died of lymphoma in 2007 when he was 8. He was a good boy
NiMH chatters, converses, chats, a regular chatterbox he is.
He seems to feel he is conveying something.
On our end it’s all ‘meow’ to us.
You don’t understand Cattish yet?
Observe and listen more carefully. You really can tell what they’re saying.
It’s usually feed me, brush me, scoop the box, feed me, make a lap, feed me, and/or get up and feed me before I starve straight to death!
NiMH tries to convince us that he’s not a cat.
He also will observe something, then appears to talk about it.
Some action on a computer monitor or a movie for example.
If you speak to him, he responds.
Most cats will look at you as if you have lost your marbles if you speak to them.
NiMH also will lay down with his head on a pillow.
Seems he has observed humans too much.
