Witnesses say man may have pulled gun as Obama motorcade passed near Ground Zero

NEW YORK — Authorities apprehended a man who witnesses say may have pulled a gun out of a backpack as President Barack Obama's motorcade passed today in New York.
The man, who wore a blue hat, had dark curly hair and appeared to be in his 20s, was wearing a backpack. New York Police Department officers and Secret Service agents shouted, "Get down, get down," and tackled the man at the corner of Church and Vessey Streets in lower Manhattan.
Obama had just left the World Trade Center site and his motorcade was turning from Vessey Street to Church Street when the incident occurred in front of the Church Street Station Post Office.
The man was taken into the post office as dozens of officers from various organizations arrived to assist.

Not going to happen. Ground Zero is the safest place on earth today. They closed all the streets in downtown Brooklyn and downtown Manhattan to all traffic, they closed the PATH train line that goes to the WTC stop, they have police barricades that people can get through only after screening. Similar to what they do on New Years Eve at Times Square. They have SWAT teams everywhere.
Barney Fife in a ski mask. How do I know this? It says so on the front of his uniform: ‘POLICE ATF’. The ATF NEEDS to be disbanded!!! BTW I think a HG would be OK. The ATF isn’t known for its ability to shoot straight.

Methinks those photos will never be released.
That was stupid. That Limo is heavily armored. You would need at least a LAW rocket, probably more than one in order to accomplish THAT mission. A gun? Might as well bring a slingshot.
