Janet Napolitano on Monday said an indictment against three illegal immigrants accused of killing a border patrol agent sends a "clear message" to drug cartels and border smugglers.

Wow. Indictments. Well that should have these blood thirsty animals shaking in their boots. This "woman" is a disgrace and so over her head.

I heard that word leaked out in Mexico that a high-level US-Sinaloa arrangement had been made, with the effect that other cartel members view US agents as de-facto employees of the Sinaloa cartel.

The arrangement had the US objective of quickly and dramatically reducing drug import into the US from non-Sinaloa cartels.

And so that agent was killed.

Napolitanoloon’s “clear message” is: “Anyone, yes, ANYONE - no matter how stupid, can become a government official.

"This indictment also sends a clear message to those who would consider committing violence against the Border Patrol: we will not stand for aggression against our men and women in uniform, and we will bring the full resources of the federal government to bear in protecting them from harm and holding accountable those who would threaten their lives or their safety," said Napolitano in a statement.

The drug cartels don't give a crap about these guys- they're already forgotten. There are lots more thugs where they came from. 'Clear message' my ass. Napolitano is throwing marshmallows at a problem that demands a sustained application of artillery.

Why not just use Seal Teams to raid the drug cartels in Mexico like the raid in Pakistan last week?

Porkistan had 100k infantry in close proximity...

Seems like a cakewalk in comparison... The ATF delivered guns to them, so it won’t be difficult to pinpoint their location...

If we had the right administration, it could eventually come to that. But not with this administration. No way, no how. But even so, we’re not at war with Mexico or its citizens. And Mexico isn’t harboring the head of a military enterprise, and terrorist to boot.

Yes, I know I’m splitting hairs on that, but it’s still true, and we really do need to maintain protocols. IOW, we need to lead. First, enforce the borders. Second, get tough with business and those found to be here illegally, deporting them without recourse. Next, go after any and all cartel members found North of the border, and any violence against America and its citizens will be retaliated with excessive, deadly force. IOW, you want to do drug business here, you will die here.
