Took some pictures of the CA Capital Takeover and there were arrests. BTW....there is also a picture of Blair Underwood in the gallery. He just happened to be at the Capital and I am pretty sure is unrelated to the protest.

Stupid or evil? Which is it?
I have been wondering lately what happens when a government can not give what protesters want?
In California, the state legislature would love to give these protesters everything they ask for, it is not that they do not agree with them, it is just that reality is beginning to intrude into their fantasy world.
Social utopias do not exist no more than perpetual motion machines can exist.
So teachers are taking this week to try and influence the choir, the problem is they have been kicking the can down the (on how to pay for all the promises) for years. Well they have kicked the can down a blind alley and there is not much further they can go before they hit the wall.
As an example of the excess benefits I heard today there are some lifeguards (in the LA area) that are retiring at age 50 on $100,000 a year. This has got to end.
So back to my original question, what happens when there massive work stoppages, strikes and other labor action when the state can no longer simply give in?
If I know the socialist they will go to court and have a judge demand giving more to the protestors but that is not a solution, that only means we hit the wall sooner.

I think they may be on to something. Compared to the rest of us, government workers with their over the top pay and benefits are rich. LET’S TAX THEM!
Start with the new government worker 80% tax bracket, following year 90% tax bracket, and finally the 98% tax bracket on all government workers.
We’ll let them keep their 2 cents worth.
The police officer on the right has sanitary gloves on to avoid catching the diseases the protestor is carrying.
