Oklahoma: FReeper trussell's daughter Crystal has some urgent medical care needs that sound like a blood issue from the discriptions. She does not qualify for Sooner health care.
Your information or knowledge of where she can take her for medical care is needed. FREEP MAIL trussell if you have the knowledge of the information she can use.
You who live in Oklahoma, you know your health system, CAN you provide the information she needs?
FREEP MAIL trussell
She would also appreciate your prayers for her daughter Crystal.

Shes bruising easy, has no energy, no stamina, falling, breathless with little movement, sore muscles, cramping limbs, tired most of the time, dizzy, blurry vision and poor memory. She has terrible tummy troubles and has for years.
They never test for anything and just say shes a faker. She eats meat and vegies. She loves salad and beef, chicken, pork. Shes not a fussy eater.
There are no hospitals that will see her since she isnt gushing blood or have a broken bone. They treat her symptoms and tell me to take her to a primary care.
We took her to a free clinic, held once a month...there was no doctor, they were on an emergency, so the only thing we did was talked to a nurse.
The nurse thinks maybe a vitamin deficiency, charley horses affecting her arms and legs, and told her to take omeprozole OTC for her tummy and a multivitamin.
.The nurse prayed over her and said she received that my daughter was under attack from the occult, possibly for something she did to open the door to such an attack.
Interesting visit to say the least...we are going to try the suggested OTC meds and pray they work.
Believing evil spirits cause illness went out in the 1800's.
Prayers up for her and her family.
how old is crystal
Prayers for you and your daughter.
Prayers for the young lady’s health.
Get in the car and take her to St. Jude Children hospital.
Prayers up!
She's eating good. No fever. No wheezing.
breathless with little movement-
Is an emergency.
And these mini drug store clinics, I think do no more that treat, very minor issues, and tell you to go to your Primary Care doc if you need lab work.
And a simple multi, which only contain trace vits/mins with a acid reflux med will only mask the issues.
Individual vits/mins, acidopholis can and do help folks.
BUT before any blood work can be done, a person has to be off all them for 2 weeks. I know this because I take them, and had to be off 2 weeks just to get a platelet count done.
Shriners help sick children that I do know. Not just burn victims.
Have they looked for an Urgent Care in their area? They will send you for most tests and are a great help.
There is a national program for those who cannot qualify for health insurance. Not many know of it. It is a PPO and guaranteed issue. The rates are good. (we subsidize it)

Check to see if your state has eligibility
From me:
There is also the Hill-Burton Act, hospitals are given X amount of $$ to help those who need it.
Good advice, go to a pharmacy walk-in. The doc will know what to do and can get immediate care ordered.
Where, exactly, is this child and how old is she?
That would be my best advice. We non-medical people can only make guesses, some of them wild, some valid.
St Jude’s http://www.stjude.org/stjude/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=f87d4c2a71fca210VgnVCM1000001e0215acRCRD
Or Lebonheur Children’s Hospital here in Memphis. http://www.lebonheur.org/portal/site/lebonheur/
Age I can’t tell you pre-teen to teen I “ASSUME”, if you looked at the title she is in the great SOONER state of OK.

Can any of you Sooners post this thread to your profile page?
Prayers up for Crystal and her family.
Take her to St Jude. They treat the child regarless of the ability to pay.
Prayers for God’s blessings on all.
I saw that, but trussell has a Minnesota flag on her profile page and in the profile, she says she lives in colorado. YOU are talking about Tennessee, wher you are, and I am confused.
However, there are questions. How long has she been seeking medical attention for this child...and when did the bruising start? Do the bruises heal quickly/normally? or do they heal slowly or not at all?
(she had a case of rotovirus when a baby.)
Her parents are military - took her to their doctors and specialists in Maine, Nova Scotia, Texas and Florida...went through a mountain of tests. Nothing - just ‘take antacids)
She took tums after every meal. Nothing stopped it.
One day, at a health fair, a Natureopath, (In many states, including Florida, a Natureopath is also a trained physician) - was offering to analyze a drop of blood and tell you the results. He offered to my daughter. She asked him to do her daughter instead.
He took a drop of her blood, put it his machine, and without knowing ONE thing of her past, turned to her and said: “Honey, does your tummy hurt after you eat?”
BINGO! He diagnosed glucose intolerance.
My daughter told her regular pediatrician - who scoffed:”Well, I guess if you try it and it works, you'll know.” She, the doctor, was indignant.
But that was two years ago. My daughter has become a gourmet gluten-free cook...and my granddaughter has no more tummy aches and has improved in all other areas of her health like night and day.
I do not imply your daughter has the same problem. What I am suggesting is that you might want to find a competent Natureopath - They may be able to pinpoint the problem with as little as one drop of blood.
Prayers
Agree. I would go to a naturopathic doc first ANYTIME. They aim to correct condition NOT just cover up symptoms

I do not know where you can go for a diagnosis to really sort this out as I live in Wisconsin, the "free clinic" lady sounds like she means well, and prayers never hurt, but you need to get some serious help for the young lady.

Which is why I headed the thread with the right state.
You missed Leukemia.
And a nurse saying the child is filled with “EVIL” spirits smacks of the 1400’s.
She truly needs St Jude’s here in Memphis.
People sometimes post their original home state flag, and don’t mention they moved. Lots don’t even have a thing up on their pages.
Several weeks now. I know the prayer warriors have been praying for her for that long.
I gave the url’s for the 2 best places that I know in my state. I was hoping SOONER’s would know the same kind of places in their state.
Actually it’s not voodoo and you can have demonic forces influencing your health and causing bizarre symptoms. As well as other things, just not always. And they are easy to cast out if your a believer. No beatings, and no shouting and such. Just in the name of Jesus I command you leave, you have no authority here, or anything along those lines or what the Holy Spirit tells you to say, in Jesus name. We’ve been given that authority. It works, it’s also more common than you think. Could also be medical, only God and the doctors can tell.
The other thing also is, I thought ALL children nation wide, if there parents make only so much money a year qualify for Medicare/Medicaid(I get the two mixed up, it’s one or the other) My niece and her husband make around 50-60,000 a year and both of their boys get state health care.
You are on UE, through no fault of hers (economy), which is why she is on UE.
We are talking about an unemployed, single mom of several children. And that UE comes with big strings that makes you a slave to the gov't rules. You always get a couple of $$ TO MUCH to qualify for any other program like state health ins. Which is what is happening here.
Drug store Walk in clinics do not deal with any major illness, and the most you are seeing is a RN, not a doc, all they can do is 'suggest' you see a Primary Care doc. I doubt they can even recommend one.
Now if Crystal were an illegal, no sweat, just walk into any ER and you get FREE full care.
Take your child to a pediatrician asap and pay cash.
Go to Health and Human Services and get resource phone numbers. There are funds readily available for the medical care of children. Your local hospital will offer good information on how to get money for medical care. Continue to pray, but most importantly, get your child to a pediatrician if she is 18 yrs. or younger.
PING
OU Medical Center/Children’s Hospital
Now we are getting some where. I knew some one had the info or how to find it.
http://www.oica.org/ children’s advocacy for OK.
Child Care Warmline 1-888-574-5437
You and I always push St Jude don’t we Gail. My son was treated there before he died. They were so good and never charged a penny. We had no insurance.
I hope you find the right care.
If the child’s symtomps are getting worse, she should be taken to the emergency and figure out how to pay for it later, or what options exist. You don’t want to risk the child’s life.
I am not in Oklahoma, but a quick search showed:
WELCOME TO VARIETY CARE, a comprehensive, family-focused community health center that offers primary medical, dental, vision, pediatric, WIC and behavioral health care to any Oklahoman. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and private insurances, and UNINSURED patients access services along a sliding-fee scale based on family income.”
Might be worth a try, if she is stable and you don’t think it’s really an emergency, but she needs to be examined and tests done to diagnose her.
I think the most important thing is to get her medical care ASAP.
Here is something else I found — medical care for the uninsured:
http://o-c-m-s.org/ocms-resources/health-alliance-uninsured

That was my first thought. Gluten allergy.
Need to address to trussell, it is her daughter that is sick. If you’ve never dealt a lot with the med system, you have no clue where to start.
You ever try to get into a doc’s office or hospital with NO money? No ins? Only if you are an illegal.
You are right the local children’s hospital should have a social rep with lots of info at her fingertips. There are also Mayor’s hot lines.
You might find this link helpful:
I also know of some OU medical facilities around NE 10th and Lincoln that will try to test and diagnose unusual health issues for free. They have OU medical research in this area and it’s beneficial to them to get hard cases to diagnose.
I think you can find someone to help you there:
http://heartspring.net/_cms/_directory/Kansas
**************
there are many in Texas
http://heartspring.net/_cms/_directory/Texas
well, just go to the site and search the list of states on the left
I’m a retired physician. No more excuses, I told her (sorry I sent it to you by mistake) how to get the funds for her child’s care.
If the social service reps don’t do it, the accounting office will—the hospital gets the patient’s money back as payment for providing medical care.
