'He was a rutting chimpanzee': French journalist says IMF boss tried to rape her TOO

Dominique Strauss-Kahn underwent forensic tests today following his arrest on sex attack charges in New York - as a second woman in Paris reported him for attempted rape.

The 62-year-old head of the International Monetary Fund, who was tipped to become the President of France next year, ‘vigorously’ denies the claims made by an unnamed American chamber maid.

But now Tristane Banon, the 31-year-old god-daughter of Strauss-Kahn’s second wife Brigitte Guillemette, said he attacked her almost a decade ago.

"SNIP"

Ms Banon’s mother, Anne Mansouret, said the only reason she did not press charges at the time was because 'she was just starting out in journalism' and was afraid of being 'defined by the story' of being attacked by a senior politician Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1387621/Tristane-Banon-says-raped-IMF-chief-Dominique-Strauss-Kahn.html#ixzz1MWilN500

Yeah, well... that makes her story good background information, but nothing more.

I'm sure the guy is a pig, but I would hate to see ten-year-old attempted rape charges suddenly materialize in court with no prior existence of any kind.

Too bad he wasn’t a liberal, the rape charges seem to enhance their resumes and destroy conservatives. So, if you want to be “sex crazed” then you need to change your party affiliations.

There is something that is not right about this. For starters there is no accident about what gets into the press. Secondly, this became an overnight scandal. The woman was attacked and the next day this makes into the press. This reminds me of the Giffords shooting when Palin was blamed for it out of nowhere.

The last few sentences of the article implies he was either set up or lured into a sting for ulterior motives. With as much as politicians get away with, this is too easy. Notice also that he was going to be the “socialist” nominee for French president.

Here is the quote:
“ If found guilty of the attack at the Sofitel Hotel, Strauss-Kahn faces up to 15 years in prison, while his political and financial career already appears ruined.”

In other words if he is innocent the damage has been done.

Yep. AlGore, a former two term VPOTUS, Presidential nominee, and savior of the environment had equally serious and more bizarre allegations leveled against him, and the MSM barely reported that he and Tipper were getting separated.

Maybe, but I stand by my ‘typical politician’ remark.

Yes, like how society shunned, judged and shamed Bill Clinton after his rape-grope-raps.

He commanded top dollar at speaking engagements and book deals.

Was sharp to criticize Bush in office.

The attack raps never were put in context.

Violence against women must only be bad if you are a conservative. Others get a pass.

The woman was attacked and the next day this makes into the press.

The guy was a world famous figure, hauled out of first-class off a jet in NYC, alleged trying to flee the country.

That's going to be in the news everytime.

The German newspaper der Welt said that Tristane Banon told of the rape (occurring when she was 22) in a television interview in 2007, but the television station beeped out Strauss- Kahn’s name so the viewers didn’t know who it was. He mother was a members of the Socialist Party and talked her daughter into keeping quiet. The mother now says she regrets that decision.
