And it would be worth it, just to hear Perry tell Obama, “Adios, MoFo!”

Is there a rural county dog catcher who hasn’t been “looked at” as presidential material so they can avoid the 800 lb gorrilla in the room? Geez. Gov. Sarah Palin has TENS OF MILLIONS of supporters just waiting to work their fingers to the bone to get her elected.

My only concern with Perry is his failure to do anything on the border. He allows sanctuary cities to openly exist and until recently, it was all with a "wink wink" type of blessing. Now, with folks are being openly killed and cops under blatant assault, he picked up his head and started talking about doing something. BFD.

Rick Perry was not "Tea Party" before there was a Tea Party. He saw the parade going by and took advantage of the media coverage.

I don’t think Palin would ever run for VP again, but it does seem like they get along.

I wouldn’t vote for Gov. Goodhair for POTUS any sooner than I would Gingrich, Huckabee or Ron Paul.

He is a weak sister when it comes to ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and all that it brings with it.

The poster boy for Kelo vs. New London type eminent domain abuse has as much chance as Huck had.

I see why, but reasonable minds can differ in this regard.

No.

No McRomney, McGingrich, McPawlenty, McDaniels, and McPerry.

Not this time. What you are seeing is the RINO establishment finally waking up to the power of the Tea party and desperately searching for the one RINO ringer that hasn’t been outed as a statist.

He would be at the top of the list for me. Clearly preferable to Mitt, Pawlenty, Bachmann, Cain.

Perry has the best electability + conservative quotient of anyone in the current field.

has learned that political associates have begun to nose around quietly on Perry's behalf.

I heard him state in a recent interview on WBAP in Ft. Worth (Jason Lewis show) that he would not run for President. Political Associates are another matter. I doubt Governor "Rick" will run for President.

Sorry, amigo.

That is exactly the WRONG reason to support Mr. Herman Cain.

He deserves better than that and so does this country.

I would support Mr. Cain on the basis that he is a good man with a ton of great experience and he’s not prone to take the PC approach to solving the many problems that he would face, if elected.

Is there a more conservative major politician in the country?

Show me a plausabile scenario and I'll listen. Please include a candidate other than Palin, Romney, Gingrich, Pawlenty, Daniels, etc., etc., $1 billion plus in campaign finance, a MSM committed to journalism not electioneering, a Republican Party committed to a take no prisoners fight against big government (whatever the political costs), a laser-like commitment to fiscal maters and size/scope of government issues, avoiding redherring social issues like immigration, and a continuing poor economy through November of 2012...

Oh, nevermind.

Noooooooooooooo! Stay where you are, Rick.

He’s just not national politics caliber, and is a sun-shine conservative.

(I’m a Texan).

This could be a trial ballon to see if Perry could generate any traction.

It is all good. Sarah hasn’t declared. Which is fine. As long as she hangs back more candidates will enter and the more that enter the better chance she has since they will divide up her opposition.

Her supporters, such as me, love her so she can count on us to get her through.

So far she is playing this real good.

That's the McCain approach; campaigning without politics. Fall on your moral sword if you like, but we both know the games our political opponents will play, and that includes big government bribery of key constituencies and identity politics.

Wake me for the GOP concession speech.
