Why do so many people on this site seem to think that Sarah Palin would accept the second spot on the ticket two elections running? Not gonna happen.
For whatever it is worth, the adds against Perry, if he were to run, will be the current Texas financial/budget mess ($25+ billion deficit next two years) and the education cuts. He will be able to talk his way out of some of it, but it will be hard to hear. He has a lot of work to do to become a viable candidate. As a Texan, I hope he stays out of the national race, not out of fear of losing him hear, but as to how he would perform as a president.
Rick Perry’s been a good governor of Texas for the most part, but I am not ready for him to be in EITHER spot. I’m with you on Sarah....and possibly YOUR very intelligent, outspoken and fervent conservative Michele Bachmann! :)

Yes, but that was rescinded. There were alleged ties between Perry and Merck, and a lot of people protested it; so the mandatory shots are not happening.

I could vote for Rick. Like W, he’s made some whoppers of blunders, and he isn’t as conservative as I’d like, but on the whole he’s done a pretty good job. Four years ago, I was like, no way, but now I feel differently.
Yet he hauls in 10 million dollars in 8 hours. The only problem Mitt has is that Heavenly Father hasn't seen fit to make the Mormon Missionaries effective enough to make enough Mormons to put him over the top in the race.
