Hang him now!
I am not saying I believe him. I just want to see the state's version of events and the evidence it has to prove that version of events beyond a reasonable doubt.
This is how every crime other than rape is handled. I do not believe that rape is some sort of "special" class of crime in which the accused no longer has Constitutionally-guaranteed rights.
Does he have a record of criminal convictions? Even if he did, it does not apply to this case.
A bunch of women coming out of the woodwork claiming "oh he raped me too" doesn't make for a history. That could happen to any man.
>> “Was there any proof that the victim did not consent to sex?” <<
.
Yes, and shame on you! - His actions preclude any presumption of innocence.
You’re hysterically funny, woofie - NOT!
By saying it was consensual the guy is admitting sexual contact took place... He knows the physical evidence is against him ....The evidence is unlikely that a woman with a good employment history in a very high class /expensive place had sexual contact with a stranger who she dealt with for an extremely short period of time ...If it didnt happen before I doubt that it happened this time
That's what I am getting at. These two might have had a very wild evening together. Unless there were spectators, how can it be proven that it was rape?
If there are cameras in the hallways you will see how much time and thus contact went on between them
you also have her check in check out time ...I bet she comes on duty in the morning and is out of there by 3

Boy oh boy!!!! What a truly asinine comment! Are you a muslim? (they have to have 4 witnesses to prove rape)
Lemme see, King Kahn, meets a chamber maid and within minutes, she’s smitten with his wild, youthful good looks, rips off her clothes and makes passionate love, to Kahn, all within 5 minutes. King Kahn, keep dreamin...
This housekeeper was in charge of cleaning the $3,000 a night suites, was very responsible, has a family with 3 kids and is not on drugs at the time. King Kahn might have been.
All of it destroyed because some woman cries "rape."
So yes, call me skeptical.
It's not blood evidence alone. The medical examination corroborates her story along with blood evidence found in the room.
She must have been bleeding, or the blood found in the room would have not be relevant.
I am merely asking for proof that shows beyond a reasonable doubt that the accused is guilty of the crime of rape. You are not only convicting this guy without a trial, but you make a ad hominem attack against someone who believes that the rule of law should be respected.
Sounds like a winning argument to me. /s
From ABC:
His alleged victim is still reeling from the attack she says took her completely by surprise, according to a close friend.

“She was still crying today,” a friend of the alleged victim told ABC News. “She was completely devastated. I was the first person she called.”
The alleged victim, a housekeeper at New York City’s Sofitel Hotel, called the friend from the emergency room at St. Luke’s hospital, where she was examined by doctors and questioned by New York Police Department detectives Saturday night after the alleged attack.
“She called me and said, ‘Something really bad happened,’” he said.
He described his friend, an immigrant from West Africa and the mother of a 15-year-old girl, as a “good Muslim” and “not the kind of woman to attack a man.”
“She didn’t understand why he did such a thing,” he said.
ABC News does not identify the alleged victims of sexual assault.
crystal mangum?
Again, I am not saying this guy is innocent, but based on what you post, all we have is the alleged victim’s version of events, based on what she said. Let’s wait and see what evidence the state has against the accused.
For someone to assert the woman may not be telling the truth that a sexual assault had taken place, because she did not have any witnesses, has lost it completely.
