Indeed; very much so.
The Republican Party seems determined to become utterly irrelevant due it’s utter spineless-/ballless-ness.

As far as Bozell’s references to Europe’s socialism; as a Catholic, he ought to know that the church doesn’t have a problem with it.

The gutless republicans will neither step up nor step aside. They will continue down their cowardly path to their destruction, and ours.

Brent’s right on the mark. I am totally against a third party, but if we cannot get the RINO’s, the Leftist’s the “H” out of the leadership of the Republican Party, then we aren’t going to win back this government any faster than it would take to secure the people’s confidence in a third party.
So flame away.

"America is at a crossroads and the Republican Party must show bold, courageous leadership at this moment to keep the country from sliding further down the path to European-style socialism...Sorry Brent, that train left the station decades ago.

If the Pubbies were remotely serious about being conservative, they would immediately close all primaries to voters not registered as Republicans. As it is, the primary in NH is still open. That’s what stuck us with loser McCain, and Romney is likely to win there as a result.

On this article, Bozell is right on.
Though, I get nervous when he writes. He is a good guy, but it seems he gets a little iron fisted on TV shows. Granted there is plenty of cultural rot, but I like shows with darker material

It’s a little late for that. Now, we’re just trying to keep from sliding off into becoming like Zimbabwe or the Weimar Republic.

Olog-hai :"

Trailerpark Badass advises Olog-hai that:" Youre a moron."
Acapesket then chides Olog-hai: "WTF? I am winning the future here, who gives a rats ass what the Europeans think? The only Catholics/Christians left in Europe are in Rome. The rest are being sucker punched by the ROP! Buzz off."
Apropos of nothing Olog-hai taunts Acapesket : "Is that you, Nancy Pelosi . . . ?"
Olog-hai explains to Trailerpark badass): "Youre a moron" ---------- "You must be a liberal then.""
Then Roccus jumps in and inexplicably tells Olog-hai: "...and you must belong to the KKK"
Surely this was one of the least cogent exchanges I've seen here.
Thank You, all.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. ... Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem."

Most members in the republican leadership and this includes those running for POTUS, are socialists to one degree or another, but socialists none the less.
Just look at what they have supported the last 30 years.

I don't disagree with any of this. It's just too bad it is Bozell saying it and not someone with a little more clout who could get the ear of some of the tone-deaf Republicans. Granted, they only have 1/3 of the branches of government, but their performance has been truly disappointing so far.
