Private schools are expensive and not every parent can afford them. Are you saying kids can’t pray in public schools?
Although the Constitution forbids public school officials from directing or favoring prayer, students do not “shed their constitutional rights to freedom of speech or expression at the schoolhouse gate.” Tinker v. Des Moines Indep. Community Sch. Dist., 393 U.S. 503, 506 (1969). In addition, the Supreme Court has made clear that “private religious speech, far from being a First Amendment orphan, is as fully protected under the Free Speech Clause as secular private expression.” Capitol Square Review & Advisory Bd. v. Pinette, 515 U.S. 753, 760 (1995). Moreover, not all religious speech that takes place in the public schools or at school-sponsored events is governmental speech. Santa Fe, 530 U.S. at 302. For example, “nothing in the Constitution ... prohibits any public school student from voluntarily praying at any time before, during, or after the school day,” and students may pray with fellow students during the school day on the same terms and conditions that they may engage in other conversation or speech. Santa Fe, 530 U.S. at 313.

Kids can pray all they want in public school for all I care. But TRUST me when I say that you are going to have Muslims, Druids etc doing the same thing during a graduation ceremony and you can’t say crap. That is why private schools are the best way to fight this. Too bad if they are expensive.....send them anyway and don’t purchase a new car for a few years. Such selfish people.
As long as there is free speech for all then yes I am happy.
There is nothing in the Constitution that bans prayer in public. The ACLU is anti-liberty and has a communist agenda.
Many people don’t have new cars and still struggle. If anyone wants to pray, they can. Freedom of religion.

It's that second part they keep forgetting. The First Amendment guarantees that the government may not force you to perform a religious exercise, it does not guarantee that you will never be exposed to other people performing religious exercises voluntarily.
We wish... but unfortunately the ACLU lives off a perhaps well intended but ill thought out Federal law that awards legal costs to the winner in civil rights lawsuits, no matter how petty the cause. So the ACLU lives off the taxpayer and has no economic reason not to press its tendentious jihad to the uttermost.
