More Strauss-Kahn Rumors Emerge Updated: Sunday, 22 May 2011, 9:35 AM CDT Published : Sunday, 22 May 2011, 9:35 AM CDT

(NewsCore) - NEW YORK -- Former International Monetary Fund (IMF) head Dominique Strauss-Kahn attempted to lure two attractive hotel employees to his $3,000-a-night New York hotel suite -- and later put the moves on an Air France flight attendant following his alleged sexual assault on a maid, the New York Post reported Sunday.

"What a nice ass!" he barked to the attendant, using the lewd French expression "Quel beau cul!" as she prepared the business-class cabin for takeoff last Saturday.

His catcall came just moments before Port Authority detectives hauled him off the plane, French magazine Le Point reported.

The final act of lust capped a whirlwind weekend of attempted womanizing for the former front-runner of the 2012 French presidential election.

The frisky Frenchman first tried his seduction skills on a VIP receptionist who escorted him to his suite at the Sofitel hotel Friday evening, law enforcement sources said.

When he got to his room, the 62 year old asked the "attractive" worker to join him for a glass of Champagne after her shift -- an invitation she described to authorities as "inappropriate" and that she rejected on the spot, the sources said.

Strauss-Kahn, a married father of four, then tried his game the following day on the desk receptionist who first checked him in, described by a source as an "attractive woman who caught his eye."

He asked her to join him in his suite, where he had a complimentary bottle of Dom Perignon Champagne. The woman said that, at first, he was "borderline flirting," and she declined the sordid invite, according to sources.

His attempted seductions came to light after investigators interviewed every Sofitel employee and pored over more than 48 hours of video footage, including recordings of Strauss-Kahn bolting from the hotel Saturday afternoon without checking out.

The silver-haired skirt-chaser did not explicitly ask either woman for sex, but both described his advances as blatantly "inappropriate," the sources said.

The frustrated Lothario allegedly resorted to violence after striking out with the two hotel staffers. Prosecutors said that after emerging from the suite's bathroom naked, he threw himself upon the unsuspecting 32-year-old maid who was in his room to clean.

Strauss-Kahn allegedly chased her down the hallway and into his bedroom, grabbed her breasts, attempted to pull down her pantyhose and forced her to perform fellatio before she tore free from his grasp and ran to tell her colleagues, who called the cops.

After leaving the hotel, the ex-banking big shot stopped for lunch with his daughter Camille, a Columbia University student, before grabbing a cab to JFK Airport. But the harried political bigwig realized that he left one of his seven cell phones behind and called the hotel.

Police investigating the alleged rape attempt had already told hotel employees to ask him where he was and tell him that they would deliver the phone. Strauss-Kahn even asked the pilot to delay the flight so it could be delivered but was refused, according to Le Point.

Strauss-Kahn was indicted on seven counts, including attempted rape, criminal sexual assault and unlawful imprisonment. He could face up to 25 years if convicted. He is pleading not guilty

Bill is a big guy and was 20 years younger than Kahn.

Kahn's a little shrimp...So, this little porker tackles a maid...FORCES her to perform _____ WITHOUT BITING....

Showers, gets dressed, meets his daughter for lunch, takes a cab to the airport......and they wind up holding up the plane so the cops can arrest him for something that happened...maybe 2 hours before.

Puleeeeeez.....

We need REAL evidence....Just like we got in the Duke case.

I'm not saying nothing happened.....it's just not what this guy does....he's a seducer...a charmer...and he's loaded.

Police showed up at the scene, and began hours of investigation. Shortly after police arrived, Strauss-Kahn called the hotel to report he had left his cellphone behind and his call was immediately routed to the Sofitel security chief, the sources said.

If not found, she - being a recent immigrant, not aware of how things are done here - likely would decide to do nothing.

Or alternatively, that the staff of the French-owned hotel would have cooled her down, cleaned her up, and given her the day off. DSK is a very good customer, you know. And the future Monsieur le Président! I'd bet some combination of those two theories is what enabled him to get away with past incidents.

The article stated he had seven phones. That's bizarre. Two phones — one for US and one for Europe — that I could believe. I keep an old Nokia GSM around for trips to Europe. I just charge up the SIM when I get there. But I also take my US CDMA phone along to use during departure from and arrival and to the US.

Inquiring minds want to know if he planned on giving her a neck rub or more (google for merkel neck rub, if your memory needs refreshment).

He had 7 phones. He obviously just forgot to pick up one of them when he left (in a hurry, I’d say).

Only 9 months ago: Two More Massage Therapists Accuse Al Gore of Sexual Assault

How did Al Gore ask for a massage?

"The therapist claimed that when they were alone, Gore shrugged off a towel and stood naked in front of her." He then propositioned her for a sexual act
How many of the elite are held to any account? This starts at the local level too.

Vote for happily married men and women.

Don't know what to make of your comment leading to Bush. I guess it is a culture thing my father a masseur did the same thing, maybe dirty minds.

Strauss-Kahn had been flying to Europe to discuss the worsening European debt crisis. He had been scheduled to meet the German chancellor, Angela Merkel, on Sunday and European financial ministers on Monday and Tuesday.

Maids don’t take the job for the chance to set up guests and international intrigue. It’s a low paying menial job, it is only done by people who REALLY need the job. And those that don’t get the work done don’t last long, as there are standards and a certain number of rooms that must be done during a shift.

Any regular business traveler or hotel employee knows that this simply happened as described. At the hotel where I worked, mgt had to weed out lazy maids, but the ones who stayed were just trying to do their jobs, did them well. There was one room that a european business traveler completely destroyed - and maids had to clean it. Every bodily substance all over everything. Took days. Just from eating and drinking. No one does that to a room unless they are a very arrogant partier.

Whenever I travel I always try to cut maids a break: leave the room virtually untouched and tip. I figure if 1 out of 20 rooms is easy, its a little, but it’s something (there are still numerous things they have to do even though everything is in order). Of course, not bothering them other than hello and goodbye is nice too.

Some men have absolutely disgusting attitudes towards maids. This guy is one that acts out his feelings. People sometimes do bizarre things in a hotel that they would never do at home. I had to have a guy taken away by the cops for throwing a garbage can through a glass door after a wedding party. I learned later the man was an attorney well into his 40’s. After a while I became quite used to calling the cops and having people thrown out. Once people sensed that I wasn’t putting up with anything, my nights became much easier and my guests a lot more polite. Kind of pathetic to have to be parent/drill sergeant for adults, but that’s life.

Everything and anything goes on in hotel rooms - guys like DSK feel that they will get away with anything, since the maids are afraid of customers. Remember the Ice Man, and the guy he killed in a NJ motel: the body was under the bed for weeks before it was discovered.

Too bad for the French liberals who are trying to convince themselves DSK was somehow set up by his rivals. This was simply a day in the life of DSK, the politician most recently caught doing something immoral.

The article stated he had seven phones. That's bizarre.

His status on this planet was second only to the President of the United States. He likely has several phone numbers: one for family, one for friends, one for work. Multiply this by two (the USA and Europe) and you are looking at six phones already. Perhaps he also grabbed a prepaid phone or two for affairs that better remain secret (one of them failed to remain secret, though.) This is particularly important if he receives SMS and email on those phones; you do not want to mix IMF business and personal messages, and often it's not even technically possible (one phone == one email account.)

I bet you’re going to see that this guy has a history of going after lower-status women everywhere he’s been. He’s on his third wife, so he was obviously going after higher-status women, too.

I've heard it said that this type of person would molest a snake if he could get somebody to hold it still for him. If disagree, he would screw a pile of rocks if he thought there was a snake under it...

He is a despicable misogynistic pig and if there is any justice in this world, he should spend the rest of his mortal life in a six by eight foot cell with a 300 pound roommate named Bubba.

Regards,
GtG

When it happened, I confess I didn't know what to make of the mini-drive-by circus it caused. But the memory is too funny to go to waste now.

What I'd like to know now is if, in years gone by, DSK ever did his likely successor, Christine Lagarde. It's known that he has a weakness for nerdy economist types of a certain age. Example.

I guess I just find it amusing to dis frogs and IMFers, regardless of gender.

“Not a peep out of her???”

I really think that’s unfair. Sometimes hotels are quite empty. My husband and I stayed at a (much cheaper) hotel in Sacramento this weekend with our kids. The place was practically empty, at least right around us. I think if I had yelled down that empty hallway, there’s a good chance I would not have been heard.
