Judge voids Wisconsin collective bargaining law

A Wisconsin judge has struck down a law taking away nearly all collective bargaining rights from most state workers.

Dane County Circuit Judge Maryann Sumi ruled Thursday that Republican legislators violated Wisconsin's open meetings law during the run up to passage. She says that renders the law void.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court will eventually rule on this. Even though the Wisconsin Supreme Court judge election was certified, the Dem. loser there has until May 31st to file a lawsuit regarding that election. We’ll see what happens.

I sense that there is a developing liberal view that the Supreme Court election was stolen from the Democrats. They have until May 31st to file a lawsuit regarding that election.

Judge Sumi is compromised and should have excused herself from this case.

If I was Walker I would have a special session in June now to pass a cleaner bill and force the Dems to take the vote or leave the State before the recalls.

If that one is rendered void by Sumi I would abolish all State unions after the recall elections.

Sumi's husband donated to three of the fleebaggers. Her son is Jake Sinderbrand,a former field manager for the AFL-CIO and a data manager for the SEIU State Council. Today he runs Left Field Strategies, a firm that runs political campaigns.
