I've bulleted their reasons; if you think your brain can take it, go to the article to see how they explain it away. Wow. Really??

In that case, $10 gas ought to be fantastic!

And $100 gas would have us all living in Utopia!

I hope it hits $10 a gallon about two months before the 2012 election and stays there ...

I’ll give you some reasons we should hate $5 gas:

-the people most affected can’t afford to buy a new efficient car

-cheap energy = growth

-People have to get to work, well, the ones who still have jobs, many can’t take public transit as none is available, and they don’t have the time or energy to walk 21 miles to work every day

The State Run Media continues to shed whatever credibility that it has left.

The oil execs aren’t the ones who are pond scum.

Its 0Bama, Salazar, and their envirocommie supporters.

The administration is currently in contempt of federal court over the insane drilling moratorium. Why isn’t anyone in this piss-poor excuse for an administration in jail?

” Not for you and your family personally, maybe, but perhaps for the United States as a whole. “

IOW - you are just a cog in the Great Machine of State — your welfare and well-being is immaterial to the Greater Good!!!

Really creepy.

Let me see if I have figured this out. When a R is president and the price of gas goes up, it is him enriching his rich oil buddies. When a D is president and the price of gas goes up, it is a wonderful solution to all of the ills of the world.

“End of wars..?”

What numbskull would think that this would end war. We are heavily into, along with every other country, Resource Wars.

Less oil means more war.

omg... that’s not satire

these people are in full blown, down and gagging, support and cover for the current _resident

we should all just stop paying taxes in protest.

after all, using the ‘logic’ here, there’d be less government waste... less people dying due to illegal wars... less federally funded abortions... less pollution... less global warming... etc

Better yet...

With more companies unable to afford the high energy prices, more people would end up unemployed, and the fewer the people employed, the less the need for oil. Win/win. ;)
