NB: the direct attacks and mockery of Obama. This is an important change over 2008. GOP candidates cannot allow Obama to remain untouchable. He's got to be personally attacked as aloof, dangerously stupid and ineffective as an American President.

'Honest' ad hominem attacks can be clearly and strongly supported by Obama's own record of run-of-the-mill gaffes and his actual policies. Obama is a mix of the worst parts of Carter (are there any good parts?), Nixon, and Clinton.

Regardless of who your personal candidate is, every candidate, particularly current front runners need to attack Obama relentlessly. That will break the ice for our eventual nominee.

Here's my problem with such antics: while Republican candidates play their little college pranks and report them to a news media that won't ever lift a finger to help them, Obama's team is busy going through their hotel, billing and medical records looking for even the smallest smudge that the media will report in a heartbeat.
