It was just a matter of time before the successful Navy SEAL operation against Osama bin Laden on May 1 provoked a complaint that SEAL teams are all-male. Sure enough, Washington Post pundit (and founder of the feminist website Jezebel.com) Anna Holmes came through last week with a column denouncing the paternalistic, discriminatory exclusion of women from special-operations units and comparing that exclusion to racial segregation. If youd like to get a full picture of feminist thought today, just combine Holmess column with the ongoing farce at Yale University, which is under federal investigation for allegedly denying female students equal educational opportunities. Not only has the rise of women to positions of power and control in American society not dented feminist irrationality, it seems to have exacerbated that irrationality.

In other words, action is cheap and words are precious.
Her blog name isn’t very complimentary either.
Sure hope the SEALs do not succumb to PC pressure to let in women. I doubt they will.
Good luck with that - I used to think the same thing about the Submarines...
What was that movie with Demi Moore?
If a woman could make it through BUD/S without preferential treatment, then I’m all for it.
Remember when VMI fought to keep women out for years? They were finally forced to admit the first woman by court order. She showed up and the first order of business for new recruits was to shave their heads.
She got the court to stop that, too. It’s not about me climbing to where you are, it’s about me bring you down to where I am. The standards will be lowered. And men will die.
What about that?
The basic hypocrisy of rad-feminists is epitomized by this episode. On one hand, according to the rad-fems who’ve seen the Demi Moore movie, women are just as capable as men to withstand all the phsyical and mental challenges to be SEALs. However, on the other hand, women are so weak and frail of mind they can’t take a little crude behavior by a bunch of frat-boy nitwits. Undoubtedly, the fem morons probably can’t even grasp the double-standard they insist on.
The SEALS exclude anyone who is weak.
Women do not have the physical stamina to pick up a 220lb man and drag him and his gear to safety. They cannot physically dominate the same man in hand-to-hand combat. They would be unable, in fact, to accomplish the overwhelming majority of the physical tasks which are part of being a special operations soldier. Because they are unable to perform the work, the military community has thankfully not allowed them into units where their inadequacies on the battlefield would result in soldiers being killed.
This woman is a dumbass.
The currency that the US Military is supposed to operate in is human life in defense of the US Constitution. The currency that operates DC and Wall Street is cash. The two forms of exchange are not interchangeable. The US Military, the US Navy and the US Navy SEALS need to fight this with every fiber of their being.
When will we as a people stand up agains the secular elite that think they run this country?

“GI Jane” - she looked like she could’ve ripped my arm off and beat me to death with it. Hot, in a scary sort of way. And a really stupid plot.
Colonel, USAFR
I think of a older sailor I served with. He was 25, older for me at 19. Couldn’t look at him in the shower, the burns looked so awful. In 1945, his aircraft carrier was blowing up and burning around him, but he went down three decks into the fire to carry up a badly injured shipmate.
Then went BACK DOWN, and came up with another casualty. With his clothes on fire, he went down once more and brought up a man who could not walk, as a leg was gone.
Clothes now burned away, he turned again to go below, but was physically restrained and finally sedated.
On his uniform was 2 silver stars, 3 purple hearts, and the NAVY CROSS.
He is why the Navy should not have put women on board a ship of war. How high would the casualty count have been with girls on board? THAT should be the issue.
God bless him.
A high casualty count due to the physical differences between men and women will never be the issue, because it involves rational thought. Politicians and feminists are incapable of it.
Actually, I have a question for any lurking feminists: how do you think one of the Yale 16 would be treated if they were captured in a forward area by, say, the Chinese? Do you think they would be able to sue the Chinese government because a man had pointed a weapon at them? Or is it more likely that the last few hours of their life would be spent somewhat differently?
After dreaming of being SEALs for years, training up, getting in shape, and mentally preparing, 80% of the toughest men in our military fail out of SEAL training because they aren’t physically or mentally strong enough, often because they just don’t have the muscle for the job. What percentage of women would make it through? If they make it on a level playing field, I’m okay with that. The problem is that even a female Olympic athlete isn’t as strong as our SEALs.

SEALs comprise the top 1/50th of a percent of MEN in the service.
IF there are women capable of competing at THAT level, WITHOUT DUMBING DOWN THE CRITERIA, sign ‘em up.
Otherwise, sit down and shut up!
Even black males only make up about 1 1/2% to 2% of Special Operations men. No woman can do it.
