Several years ago, in college, I made the observation that many people at my school that identified as gay also identified as a victim of some form of childhood abuse or neglect. I say “identified as” because I did not believe all of them to be gay or abuse victims, but that was their story, who was I to say? I worked my way through college in the administration building, so I met and socialized with many such people it was a good job I wanted to keep. My husband (not at the time but now going on 15 years) was the only one I shared my theory with, as it wasn’t very “PC”. He thought it was a bit of a stretch but has come around after all the anecdotal evidence we’ve seen. 15 years after college and an increase in broken homes, lack of values education, etc. It seems more do identify as gay. Maybe its a way to fit in if you feel you are an outcast.I don’t know, but I still don’t think it’s over 3-4% that say they are gay.
Also, I’ve noticed a lot of people that don’t have girlfriend after girlfriend or boyfriend after boyfriend are thought of as being gay by those, shall we
say, of looser morals. I went a year without a boyfriend and was asked if I was a lesbian. I was working on a degree and with a job had no time to waste on the wrong guy. I said no, you don’t see me with a girl, either, so how does no boyfriend in itself make me a lesbian? After that year I met
my husband and the rest is history!

This is a continuation of the 70s gay propaganda agenda and is part of the purpose of the Gay Pride parades. As gay and lesbian activists tend to be Marxists—meaning they have zero allegiance to truth and reality—they will eventually claim: 1. Gays and lesbians are in the majority and 2. Gays and lesbians are “normal” and heteros are aberrations. It’s only a matter of time.
You’d think so, considering the inordinate political power given to them.
Many of their most strident activists are already making these claims. The "good as you" meme is already stale as they are now claiming that lesbians make better moms. They are saying that because many times the children of normal couples are biological "accidents" but homo-couples must intentionally become parents, they are the better suited and more motivated to be "good" parents. I hear it all the time on-line now.
Also, the lie that sexuality is a "spectrum" plays right into their false proclamation that there is a little "gay" in everyone.

It wouldn't surprise me if Palm Springs is well over 25% - I don't keep track currently, but recently the mayor (both then, as is with the current guy) and all the city councilmen except for one were admitted homosexuals.
They're currently cranking up for June to be annointed as something like "GLBT Appreciation Month" or some such.
Actually she's on to something there. Lesbianism is frequently transient, in sharp contrast to male homosexuality past adolescence.
The LUGS, as your niece calls them, would typically have had a bad experience or experiences with a key male figure in their lives - father, stepfather, brother, or boyfriend usually - which causes them to react by seeking female companionship. Many will eventually go back to heterosexual relationships.
The Census shows San Francisco is about 5% homosexual - and this is one of the most dense concentration of homos in the nation.
The Census shows many many Counties in America with under 2%. Some counties don’t even register enough homos to rate 1%.
I can easily understand why people think there are 25%-50% queers in America. Every single TV show has at least one. Every single movie has them. Pop culture makes it look as if every other person is queer.
The FACT is, less than 2% of people are homosexual. That is the fact.
But the Socialists need to crush us with political correctness, need to destroy the family, need to destroy religion, and so their propaganda machine works 24/7. This is the effect. They are winning. They are succeeding. They have brainwashed/dumbed down each successive generation more and more.
It is no wonder the brain-dead sheeple who rely on pop culture for all of their news, history, civics and other information, believe 1 in 4 Americans is light in the loafers.
The Socialist are winning. We need a counter-revolution and we need it yesterday or we are going to lose this nation.

To get to the homosexual category:
Click “View More Maps” a the top.
Click “Housing and Families” from the left.
Click “Same sex couples”, the green icon of the USA.
Check out San Francisco by putting it in the search field at top and hit “go”.
If you don’t zoom in too far, you can click on all of SF county which is listed a only 3% homosexual. Assuming half the people lied in the Census, MAYBE SF is at most 6% homosexual. Since the census is anonymous and you fill it out and send it in, I doubt many people lied, but who knows?
All I know is, the USA has 2-3% homosexuals AT MOST. The MSM and Hollywood and pop culture simply want you to think everybody is homosexual so they saturate every form of entertainment, leading people to think, every other person is queer.
You are right that not even SF is 25% queer, but it is actually 5 times less than that. About 5-7% AT MOST.

In fact, when you view “same sex couples” for homosexual popuplation in the USA, if you zoom out and see the entire USA, you will see that homosexuals are miniscule in number in the USA. Completely insignificant. Without socialists, the MSM and Hollywood and pop culture pulling for them, they are such a tiny minority of voices they should carry no weight whatsoever. And yet those who are trumpeting them and pushing them to the forefront make it seem like half of us are queers.

Just for fun, has anybody found a more homo dense place than I have? The most homo dense sensus area I could find is Provincetown, Massachusetts at 12% homosexual.

Nope, even Hollywood, CA is only 7% queer. I can’t find anything higher than Provincetown.
An old joke might explain these way high numbers ...
