The Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) has found a new group of people to rally against. The Kansas church, most infamous for its hatred of homosexuals, posted a document last Monday on its website celebrating the deaths of the Joplin, Missouri tornado victims.
“Thank God for 89 dead & counting in Joplin, Mo & 1 dead in Reading, KS!” the document declared in capital letters. “God’s whirlwind is pounding the enemies of Christ! WBC will picket your raging blasphemous stinky memorials!”

Say what you will about those nut jobs but I think they’re saying that just for publicity and to see what sort of reaction they’ll get. They make their money from suing local towns because the cops didn’t protect them enough.
These people are down right psychotic.
Those whores must be desperate for somebody to sue.

They should not be allowed in the city of Joplin. The searches are still going on..the city is hurting and doesnt need some sick sob’s to say “it was due to their sins” if I was there I would have a hard time restraining myself.
As a Baptist, I am just embarrassed almost to tears that a group claiming to be Baptist could think like these folks think. Just boggles the mind. Wish they would claim a name other then Baptist.

Out of all the occasions for the Burros’ antics, it seems that only once their intended victims mocked them back. Once. Which sent them away frustrated. It is past high time a planning commission got itself together to meet future such blasphemous picketings by the Burros, and to flout, mock, razz, and barrack the Burros on live camera on the web with a monitor on site to show them what it looks like.
The Burros need to be mocked wherever they appear.

I would thank “God” if every member of the Westboro Baptist Church were found dead.
It all makes total sense if you figure that Fred Phelps is a sociopath who could easily have been a serial killer if he channeled his evil down that path rather than this one.
They feast on others’ misery and seek publicity for it - naturally they seek out the biggest tragedies and issue outrageous statements. They are the face of evil and relish that role. Their ultimate judgement is in His hands.
It would have been nice if the first Baptists in America had managed to trademark the name (like Scientologists do theirs). Suffice it to say that WBC is not in communion with any Baptist church in the Southern Baptist Convention.
They are not baptists they are satanists. Bet they dont belong to any national baptist church and surely they would be voted out at a southern baptist convention.
